can't believe i havent seen this until now, but very nice. i like it. i have been wanting to do something very similar as soon as i get a duner to work on. maybe my wife's bike can be the tester. i must say though, very brave making the arms solid mount without any camber/cast adjustment options. obviously you can play with the ball joints, but not much. im guess you have done this before because for my first trial run, i will be putting hiems on everything so i can adjust it all til i know where everything should be. very nice!!!!

is all of your wiring right? have you cleaned up your harness to remove un-needed wires? i kicked my bike for 2 days last year at the hq ride before someone came along and said "is the red wire grounded" and fuck me if i was missing that wire. i added it back and grounded it, started right up.

we were there just last week for sandfest and not a single fire at the south camp where we were, not in the state camp or lsps side.... just sayin

hey i took my bike in pieces last year... but i got there two days before anybody else so i was good. sorta. now this year, i still need to cut my frame up and change some stuff and i wont be home until next week.

whats your take on the trinity cheetah pv ? if you could do it all over agian who would you go to and what CC would you get or crank size also from what i understood you recommend that i have the kit installed by a pro not by me as a do it yourself bolt on ? a well setup 421 is hard to beat. you get all the low end grunt with all the top end or more than a cub. personally, i would stay away from trinity for the build. if bought new, you have to get the cylinders from them, but i think any other sponsor can get them from them so you dont even have to deal with them. that is just my personal opinion based on my limited experience with trinity, i know some have had good luck with them. it just seems to me that they have a lot of problems that could potentially all stem from the same problem area and they refuse to fix/change it. if you are serious about a cheetah, i would contact camatv on here about it. he helped me tremendously with mine and saw things/problems from trinity that i would have never caught (guess thats the difference of a retard like myself and a real builder). he has a wealth of knowledge about the cheetah and as for reliability, his cheetahs has been together for something like 4 or 5 years with nothing more than an oil change and filter cleaning. thats about as reliable as it gets.

if you have the few extra bills now, might as well build a big 'un... if not, you'll just pay for it all again later when (not if) you decide to go bigger.

reliability is all in the care that goes into building it and then maintaining it from there. if built right, most motors will be as reliable as any other. as far as which motor... if budget allows, bigger is always better in my opinion.

i bought one from fireball when they were a sponsor and they gave me a really good deal. it is identical to the jj&a, i think they said they both started making them for the same company originally when they first started. i think i gave em $500 for the axle/hubs etc and a new carrier.

is it a complete frame or is the subframe or anything cut off. if not, and you are planning to get a bolt on subframe or if it already has one, have the shipper cut it off before hand or stuff the bolt on subby into the frame. then plastic wrap it and it will save you alot. i just shipped a subframe (i know, not really the same) and just plastic wrapped it and it was about $11. first time doing that, but it surprised me... for the good.

just take all that stuff off and take it like a man when you run over your foot and break ur ankle. seriously though, that shit hurts...

i didnt read through all this shit, but i say fuck the neighbors. if they dont have the common courtesy to come and ask you to stop before they just up and call the cops.. fuck em. i have had code enforcement and the cops called on me before to ask me to stop doing something that i had no clue was pissing anybody off. if they would just come ask me to stop, fuck, i would. but ur gonna waste the time of people that have much better things to do than deal with my petty crap... fuck you!!!!!
