  5. i'll be there as long as the weather is good. might be cold as shit but as long as it isnt raining, im good to go.
  6. $25 worth of some cheapo vinyl for the seat, a couple rattle cans of paint, a some soap and water will do ya about $500 worth of justice I would imagine. just sayin...
  7. holy shit dude, would you fuckin let it go. i thought this was over.
  8. something like that which is for wet clutches will be better than running atf. i was always told to run atf atf atf and never really had a reason to question it. someone told me to switch to a wet clutch oil, cant remember what i got, but its from o'rielly's. waaaay better. after a weekend of good riding, its still red as compared to atf which would turn black after only a few hours of riding.
  9. ah come on, its not thaaaat far... just 20+ hours. what's the big deal??
  10. ya, this just means we have another 50 weeks of reading and laughing before the next showdown, lol.
  11. I would say that is a pretty good overall assesment of those cylinders. I have only ridden a serval briefly so I can't give a great review of it, but I will say it is a fun motor to ride. However, now that I have a cheetah, I can comment and give a decent review. Now, keep in mind that my cheetah is setup to drag and is sitting in a drag frame, but I honestly think I could pull my motor as it sits and throw it in a duner and have a kick ass trail motor. It has an awesome amount of power down low and up high. The kick when the power hits is not near as aggressive as other motors I have ridden which makes it very rideable and predictable. Even with my dune ported stock cylinders, I would say I prefer the "feel" of the power valve motor 10x more. Even with the little added cost, I will probably always try to run a pv motor.
  12. cam, let me get some seat time in and then let me give it a whirl...
  13. haha, i might be on your heels on this one. i am so disappointed that i did not get my bike off the trailer til friday afternoon. then, when i was all ready to rip ass on saturday, well, you know the story.... fuck!!
  14. oh, and t-minus 18 hours before we are at the dunes.
  15. the bike i just got for my wife actually has some triple rate works with ressies, but they need quite the rebuild to be able to run. i was just looking for something for her to run for the weekend and then send these works in to you for some workola.
  16. thanks guys, you are awesome. also, anybody have any rear hubs for the new bolt pattern, 4/115 i think, that would be sweet. i forgot the early ones have the 4/156 pattern and i dont have any paddles to fit that.
  17. ok, just got the wife a banshee late last night and need a couple parts if anybody has them. not looking for anything new or nice, just want to get this thing running for the weekend. here is what i think i need to get it running: rear brake reservoir with the little hose that goes to the master clutch lever and perch o-ring kit for a pro design cool head front shocks, if anybody had some i could borrow for the weekend; they need a rebuild to say the least thanks,
  18. ya, they are alot better, they actually have some pressure to them. they are just a little bit further down from the entrance, maybe 100 yards farther.
  19. ya, mine are m10x1.25. i need some 8" or 8 1/4" long. im gonna see if i can find some stock ones to cut down. i can cut and re-thread the right hand thread, just not the left hand ones.
  20. anybody got an m10x1.25 left hand tap they could bring?? i need to make some new tie rods and cant find a lefty around here. i have the right one and the proper drill bit if anyone has the lefty tap and could bring it, that would be awesome. thanks in advance.
  21. sometimes a 400 gets thrown around when really its a 392. if thats the case, if you went to a 4 mil crank, it would simply be a 421.
