  1. i dont know but i heard the dude that made them is fuckin awesome!!!
  2. nice front hubs. bearing were just replaced; less than 1 hr of ride time since. all threads in good shape. ready to run. dont really wanna get rid of them, but need the money for other shit and the wife couldn't give a shit what her hubs look like so she is getting stock ones, lol. $180 shipped or trade. looking for a +2 round house swinger, preferebly chrome in good shape. also looking for a round house carrier and anything pretty to dress up a basically stock bike. if you have any pipes with decent chrome, i might be interested. the fmf's i have are kinda rough and i dont feel like putting in the effort to shine them up.
  3. i paid for the brake lines. thanks bro.
  4. interested in the carrier if its 35mm. send me a pm with a pic and price shipped to 73130. thanks
  5. i wouldn't mind seeing what these things look like either...
  6. hope i get all my shit done by spring break...

  7. I need some longer a arms!!!! PM ME!!

  8. another benefit is a lot of times, each carb wont be equally tuned. i know my power jets are 1- 1/2 turns different from each other, but both cyl egt's are normally within 20* of each other.
  9. every motor will run better at different temps. the good thing about the egt is you can keep tuning going hotter and hotter until you start to lose power and then go back down to your "sweet spot." then, from then on you can just tune your pjs to get to your sweet spot. i have a cheap koso one and it worked just fine until last time i went out. the time before that, it was windy and rainy so i think the connections just need to be cleaned up and it should work fine. i think an egt is a must and they make life so much easier.
  10. thats a hell of a motor/tire setup for a stock frame with a +8 swinger... bet that makes for a wild ride.
  11. i think you should do it. start right away.
  12. haha... i can't believe this thread is still claiming victims.
  13. i ran 44 lectrons for a day on my 392 cheetah and with some different pipes than my rdz's and holy hell did it come alive. i know my cheetah is ported different than your average cub, but the 44's weren't over kill to me. i have 36/38 lectrons now and as soon as i get all my other shit done, some bigger lectron's will slowly work their way to the top of the priority list.
  14. Wish they were triple buffs, I'd be all over them.
  15. i have never used them, but aren't people using the skat trak "terrain trak" for the hard dirt??
  16. just found this, but very interesting. on that mutli-stage setup, it looks like there is different weight on opposite arms, is it? if so, do you start tuning by getting the lighter side set first and then add weight to the heavy side to get the upper lock you want? also, would you mind sharing what clutch and steels you have found to last the longest? you mentioned being able to extend a clutch life quite a bit, mind sharing any details on that?? if not, i know a lot of this stuff is hush hush and everyone needs to do their own r&d. i tried to pm you, but it wouldn't let me for some reason.
  17. thanks for the quick shipping dude. shit already showed up at my door today.\ free bump
  18. to answer your question about why you cant just run bigger mains to add more fuel if a bigger carb will add more fuel, with a bigger carb, you are also running more air through there with the added fuel. just adding fuel with a stock carb doesn't allow you to add more air. you have to have both, air and fuel. with that motor, i would run atleast a 38/40 or 39's.
  19. that sounds like a pretty nice drag setup.. might as well get another peice of the puzzle and get some work done on your frame or find a used frame cheap. i would say +8 out the nose would be a good starting point. i built a +8 out the front with a +8 swinger and i liked it tons better than a stock frame. but, i would say my motor is only around 100hp give or take.
