  1. i have a set of oof RDZ drag pipes for sale. I finally got a hold of some RE pipes, so these need to go. They are ceramic coated, one out each side. have a couple small dings, nothing bad though. have holes for egt sensors; can use them or just cap them off. not in perfect condition, but they aren't perfect condition price. getting them cleaned up now, will get better pics up later today...
  2. i have had RDZ pipes for the last year on my 392 cheetah. thought they ran good, but never had anything to compare them to. last dune trip, i put some shearers on there. didn't really notice much difference in performance; both seemed to pull up top about the same. as far as quality, my RDZ i have never had a problem with, seem to be pretty solid. i was borrowing the shearers from a friend and after maybe a couple of hours of riding, they cracked and now need to be fixed. not sure of the history of the pipes, but i wasn't doing anything out of the ordinary with them on my bike. also, the rdz's are out each side and the shearers were both out the same side, so.... as far as fitment goes, the shearers fit waaaay better, hands down. the rdz's didn't fit bad, but the shearers were better. i am selling my rdz's if anyone is interested. finally found some racer's edge pipes that i have been looking for since over a year ago. as soon as i get them cleaned up, i will post a fs ad, but let me know if you are interested.
  3. It is shorter and stiffer than a stock shock. People use them because it lowers their bike for racing. Also allows for a little boy stiffer shock without getting a Shaw. I didn't actually ever get to run this so I can't personally attest to its ride.
  4. need some money, so somebody buy this. it is a really nice shock. the spring preload is actually adjusted using an allen wrench, pretty trick... and easy. will get a pic up shortly. $75 shipped in the US. pm me on here, i will get it pretty quick on my phone.
  5. need some billet bowls for my lectrons, figured i would see if anybody needed to get rid of some before i ordered them new. let me know.
  6. I plan on being there... Need a test-n-tune trip before the HQ ride. Prolly try to get there on Tuesday, leave Sunday.
  7. 1st gear... well, right now i have a 2-5, but as soon as i get a 1-5 back, 1st gear.
  8. or you could just sell them to me...
  9. i may be wrong since it was so long ago, but i think i remember something like 15-16 lb difference for a stock setup to my drag axle setup.
  10. i weighed the difference from when i went from a stock axle setup to my fireball (jj&a) setup. can't remember the weight, but i remember it was huge.
  11. Wow, now that was a long post, lol. But, worth reading and very well put. I guess I am a cheetah nutswinger as you mentioned, but I guess its hard not to be when you invest so much time and effort into anything. I have been on my phone for this while post so couldn't go back and read it when I replied, but yes, trinity 400's ARE junk, lol. Didn't mean to mis-quote you. Wish I had free dyno time like you just for shits and giggles to see what my motor looks like, unfortunately, the only one I know of near me charges $50 for 2 pulls, no tuning time really. Its popular with the 4 strokes, haha.
  12. Everyone is saying good info... Maybe good personal testimony but this guy obviously had issues he never figured out. My 392 cheetah WITH pv's runs awesome and I've never had any problems since we fixed what trinity did. So, to say the 400's are junk is incorrect. I understand you had a shitty experience, and I'm not taking up for trinity in the least, but you obviously had issues you never worked out because these motors can run good and do. I dont want to get into an argument about pv's because you wil just claim to have learned from and quote from the pro's, but the are not bad as you make then out to be. If properly tuned they will be up and out of the way so there is no way they wil hurt top end power like you say. Sucks you had all that bad experience with all your motors, but they aren't junk like you portray then to be.
  13. the cheetah has a lot bigger intake runners. in my opinion, there is more potential for power out of the cheetah than the cub. others may disagree, but if properly setup, i think a cheetah has many benefits to a cub if running pv's. i run a 392 cheetah myself, so maybe i am a little biased, but... just my opinion. if you already have the cheetah stuff, might as well go for it. if not, the cub has a few advantages like the ability to run a stock style head, reed cages, etc.
  14. They are actually 14 1/2", I just fixed the post. Here are some pics of them with on some lonestar +2 arms so you can see the stance.
  15. selling these for a buddy. they are nice shocks, 14 1/2" eye to eye. just rebuilt and polished with no time on them since. dual rate springs with preload adjustment. set up for 200lb rider. $475 shipped
  16. you need more tire than that... those rippers don't grab much.
  17. if he doesn't take the drum, i'll take it and the forks. pm sent.
  18. ummm.... HELL YEEEAAAAHHHH!!!!!! where are you staying at? actually, on second thought, if my wife hear's there is a hot tub, i might be headin home with my head down,
  19. if only there were a section created to talk about exhaust... hmmm
  20. i know of a bike or two with exhaust well over 201 that run pretty fuckin good. i would call around and find a builder that likes em like that. not everyone will.
