  1. yeah choke seems to work great. i took the carbs apart and cleaned them so i know there clean.
  2. ok i'll give that a try Thanks everyone for the replies, I'm going riding for the 4th of july so i'll try and see if this will work
  3. Yeah I do shut the gas off everytime I shut the bike down. I hate using starter fluid but it seems this is the only way to get the quad to start after hauling it. once you get it started once it will start on the first kick until you trailer it then it needs starter fluid again. I'm a little frustrated cause shutting the fuel off is all i should need to do
  4. Ok guys I have an 05 banshee that runs great starts up on first or second kick. My problem is that after trailoring my quad it wont start. Spray a little bit of starter fluid and starts right up. At first I thought maybe its getting flooded form bouncing around so I drained the carb bowls and went up north over the weekend. same thing had to use starter fluid. I dont get whats going on from being trailered. I've gone through the carbs and they are spotless. I can let the banshee sit for a few weeks and go and start it right up but not after taking anywhere. any suggestions? Thanks in advance
  5. Anyone know? I need to remove mine but I need to know if the cut wires get splice togfether or not. Thanks
  6. i know this is an old thread but I had one question when cutting these wires from the tors do splice any of the wires together or just leave them cut? I want to remove mine but wanted to make sure. I heard that the wires in the throttle housing get cut and twisted together Thanks This site has really helped me alot so far
  7. Ok Thanks I'm new to the whole gearing thing so i'll give it a try gonna order me a sprocket sometime this weekend
  8. Hey Thanks guys I'll try both and see which one works best for me. One other thing do you think I'll have to get a new chain if i go to the 12t? This site really rocks I've found a lot of useful info here thanks again
  9. Hey guys I was hoping you guys could help me. I just recently bought an 05 banshee completely stock and I was thinking of changing the front sprocket for a little more low end i wasnt sure if i should go down one tooth or go to a 12t sprocket. Right now all my riding will be trails some of which may be tight trails. I do want to get an after market exhaust but money is tight right now so what do you guys recomend 13t or 12t? Thanks
