Was there all day tuesday......didnt want to leave the party in hammer town after dark....... I had a blast....tons of really bad A$$ rock crawling money pits..... new plans will be out ther friday after 11am and plan on staying through sunday....might come home friday and back out early saturday(joy of riding close to home and a shower) lol been taking the kawa110 through the pits and to spectator areas( dont want to beat the shee on the rocks) Holy sheet..........if you dont want your rock crawling rig, ill be more then willing to move it out your yard :D The trails are called the hammers.......... HAMMER your gas pedal to get over rocks HAMMER your trucks on the rocks HAMMER the trails--------------they are not smooth trails--------need atleast 35 inch tires for the easy parts LOL HAMMER--------Bring big hammer to hammer out the dets your vehicle gets from flying boulders. Lets ride some banshees!!!!!!!!

Now I wont be doing any rock climbing on the shee but I will be out ther roosting her around the dry lakes and checking out all the $$$$ in the sick a$$ rock crawlers. I am not a promoter Im just going riding out ther and want to see if anyone is up for it Feb 1st - 10th King of the hammers race in Johnson Valley Ca.--------Google it....watch some youtube videos. Order new hub grind off the rivets..... knock the gear off.... the new basket should come with new mounting bolts for gear correct? The smaller straight cut gear will stay attatched to the drive gear? Should the copper thrust bearing slide right out?(thise one seems to be stuck) put all back together and ride it...... -

I got the basket out of the bike couple days ago........... The gear has play between it and the basket..... How do I remove the gear from the basket? Didnt see it in the clymer... Could just the cushions need replacing? -

found the nut and the half the stud( no other damage) othe half the stud is in case... have to remove the primary drive gear and hopefully it isnt over torqued into case..... i guess when i reassemble the gear it shouldnt have any play? -
I am working on a shee for a freind, it has been about 8 months since i was inside my clutch case on my shee.... I got this other bikes clutch case off and found the shift shaft adjustment washer in bottom of cover, no sign of locknut or stud yet... I can tell some1 one was literly "PLAYING" in ther.....all bolts and nuts looked as if they used pliers ect... Can anyone tell me if ther is supposed to be "play" or movement in the primary drive gear between the case and and Clutch hub(clutch basket) and how much movement??? Freind was complaining about the shift lever not returning and a stiff clutch lever

you should be able to add a filter without issue, i would not use paper as ginger said. There are filters inside the gas tank connected to your petcock..........

Might need to clean carbs, one or two jets could be clogged or half clogged.

Put your knobbie tires on come up and hit some lakebeds and small dunes, lots of desert cross trails with me in the JOHNSON VALLEY or SUNFAIR, joshua tree. i just got back from a cross desert ride to GIANT ROCK LANDERS CALIFORNIA and the weather was in the high 80, slight breeze(to blow dust of trail). couldnt beat it......................

the chariot pucher wont work on a blaster??? Well i ran a good tank of gas through the shee......... running great no problems............ how soon should i change that tranny fluid? I can definetly tell that the water impeller helped alote. didnt seem ther was as much engine heat rising up on my legs

i got the chariot pusher so wouldnt have to worry about welding it. the only reason i thought of welding it is because im pretty sure ther used to be a stickied thread that was a hole write up with pics showing how to do it

well I like a jack A$$ left the lockdown nut out of the mix............... nice having the chariot impeller cover now I was able to drain and reuse my coolant.......... leaned bike all the way on side so I could remove cover without losing oil......lost a little out crankcase breather....should have disconnected first........ did a test ride down then rode pissed off the neighbor who has some kinda of meerkat mansion sactuary. Everything seems to be great, going for a nice long ride tom. around GIANT ROCK, LANDERS CA, 92285-----------------GOOGLE IT

got everything intalled i adjusted the chariot pancake pusher according to my clymers. test rode up street and back everythink cool____________got in yard out in nutreal and now it feels like i have now clutch like ther is no pressure on the pressure plate.................. Cable isnt ripped

If you live in southern Cali, LETS GET TOGETHER AND RIDE. Lots if riding here we can hit Glamis, Ocotillo Wells, Johnson Valley, Sunfair Joshua Tree, Giant Rock Landers. Thers like 3 motocross tracks withing a couple of hours that we could all show up and rock the 4-strokes on our shee's. Lets do this even if the date is pushed out tell next year.........We will never do it if we don't start some kind of plan.......... I know thers lots of members withing a few hours.............

allrighty I ordered my parts from e-bay looking 5-8 days I guess. today it is Thursday so prolly wont see them until next Thursday.(7 days) if anything is trashed in there when I open it I will be sure to post some pics. I am fairly mechanicaly inclined, I have a Clymers book......Will there be any instructions with the pancake bearing? I am not concerned with water pump, I can handle that I think. Is there new hardware to hold the impeller to case or do I reuse old knock pin? What are the chances if me having to replace the seal? If I pull the impeller out can I get it back without damaging the seal? Hopefully after these clutch plates are back in ill be :bolt:

when you welded yours, did you grind it all down smooth or just tacked the ball to end? I know there is a post with pics i tried to search it, but i couldn't find....

Well maybe i am wrong but i remember people welding the ball or if you got lucky it would weld itself with heat. I thought the the ball was getting hot on bikes and self welding itself or shattering, if your lucky it doesn't shatter and cause problems I thought there used to be a pinned post on how to take it out and weld it the correct way so it doesn't happen on its own or shatter and leave metal in your motor.

Well its time to replace plates. I have new ebc fibers, cover gasket, kick start seal, water pump gasket. While im in ther i want to take the rod out and weld the ball on...... I want to install a billet water pump impelller....... Is their any other seals or items i should look into without going to a lock up clutch????

Just got back went for day trip on friday, part of oldsmobile is flaged off and has caution tape for the fourstroke wars. Watched a few fast as hell bikes. Guy was dragging hill, no whoops. Overall good trip my buddys shee is stuck in 3rd though.
