Heard of older 2 stoke bikes doing it. If it was me I would look to if it has an adjustable timing plate and see where it is set at. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Engine running backwards? Pull stator cover ensure flywheel is correct and timing is good. I’ve heard of older 2 stroke doing this when the timing is “tight” Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I hate to say it! Spray chrome rattle can. Pretty sure your not gunna tear it down for a rechrime or powder coat right now. But I would do some shinty silver before chrome. Just try to hide that patch or atleast keep it from rusting more. Ur engine passed air leak test? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Right on, passes air leak test now I hope… Let me know when u decide to part with those chrome a arms. Should spray that frame repair silver at the least…. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Kevin at here highs racing in San Diego can prolly help u. I’ve never dealt with him. He been posting stuff on those big sleeve cylinders lately. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
What size rear tires u run? Can u measure the distance from ground to lowest part of link? I’m setting my bike up for desert racing and do not want to lose ground clearance if I decide to get the elka link. I’m allready bashing the stock link on rocks. I have a -1.5 fireball arm. Full of rust water doesn’t sound good. If you feel that the stator and flywheel are still good just clean rust from off the pickup contacts. But just replace with oem. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
