  2. Work is at least 8 years old... Still need to mic the bore I have more pics. Plan on using these cylinders on a different t bottom end.
  3. Did someone massacre these? Can someone say what type of riding this person was going for? It passed a leak down test, I had way too many seasons on this motor, and was running it real hard when she poooped out. Upon tear down I noticed a missing water jacket plug.
  4. Pegs sold. Nice chrome extended axle with all chrome accessories still available. Ims shifter also.
  5. Axle, pegs, shifter still up for grabs. Last bump before pegs get traded of to local hoarder.
  6. Pistons and rings need fitted to cylinders, If you have the patience every here could walk you through most things and save you $ Post more pics..if you have a cool head the domes may be stamped with a number to tell size
  7. 8 more bolts... Buy a base gasket and cool head o rings. Measure cylinders---take them someplace that can measure them and fit them with new pistons/rings. Make your self a leak down tester...
  8. All about that compression stroke. Dad taught me how to kickstart his vintage pan head Harley when I was 14...(if you can start it you can ride it type thing). That think jacked my ankle and tossed me around until I figured it out. Cr500 ain't nothing after that.
  9. If u have 50psi and it is accurate.... Time for rings. Pull the exhaust and carbs so u can pressure test. Then pull the head.

  11. That's better then half a bundle of used shingles, 1/4 roll of felt paper, and some ridge cap.
