The voltage regulator is right next to the cdi. Its still pretty easy to work on the carbs. It took up a little room but not too much.

Thanks! That seemed to be the best spot to put it so no wires are seen. I also ran his taillight wire inside the top frame rail to tidy it up a bit.

I just relocated the cdi on my buddies bike and repainted the frame for him. Let me know what you think. Here is a pic of the bracket I made. Here is a pic of it welded in place. Finished product.
