I put on my new shocker grill I picked up from JD. I really like it and it ties into the bike nice. I am a big fan of the shockers . I still have to finish the bike when I have time. I have a chrome +4 swinger, wicked a arms and AC nerf bars. So much to do so little time.
So it will widen and lower the front. It will also make the front a little softer. That might not be to bad. I am pretty light weight 135lbs. So it probably won't hurt to much.
I want to have my a-arms polished before putting them on. I know there are people who do this I am just wanting to know the price and time it will take.
Thanks
I am going to make a choice on pipes and stick with it pretty soon. I have went from stock to Bills to FMF to Trinity IV and now to T5's. I feel like a woman who cant make a decide on anything.
Supersider, where in Nebraska are you located. I ride in Genoa alot. Did you make it to the Jamboree? What does your bike look like I am sure I have seen you there.
This is what I have gathered so far.
-The CPI Inframe are a very nice all around pipe that can still be ran as a decent drag pipe.
-The Shearer O/F pipes scream in the top end but will lose the bottom and they will not be worth a crap in the trails.
-T5's are a good all around pipe, but not as good as the CPI.
I just got my bike back together. I had the cylinders ported, cases portmatched and a rebuild. The bike runs like a champ and pulls better then I could imagine. I was wondering what I would lose or gain by going to a set of CPI in frames or CPI out of frames. I ride mostly in sand and do drags and some dunes. I dont want to spend a bunch of money on new pipes if I wont see a big difference.
some specs on the bike
-Ported cylinders and cases
-V3 reeds
-pod filters
-timing +4

I bought them from a local guy who is turning his banshee into a drag bike. He sold me his Mighty bars, +2 a arms, +4 Chrome lonstar swinger with roundhouse carrier and AC pro nerfs. I cant wait to get it all on.
Just thought I would share my new Mighty Bar billet grab bar and front bumper. I really like they way they look. The rear grab bar has a built in led light.
