Yes I removed everything on both sides. Its like they just dont want to break loose.

I will double check all the bolts again and try tapping on the studs. I did get the half moon and the clutch side.

Alright guys I have tried all the methods of spliiting the cases. I have smacked it with the rubber hammer, tried to do some light pribar action and any other thing i could think of. I searched and read all the threads and am having no luck. Any other ideas.

I searched and looked and searched some more and could not find what I was looking for. What is the main difference between the carbs. Which carb is a better setup for the 421 Cub. I have read both good and bad things about both carbs and after reading more and more I only became more confused. Lets hear the opinion from people who have ran them please.

Ok guys I am looking for a set of 35mm PWK's. I am hoping to find a set with filters, cables and the works. I have a set of 38mm Mikuni that I could trade or I will pay cash.

So I am finally getting around to putting the 4mm Cub together that I bought last year. The crank is a new wiseco long rod crank and I was told it was supposed to be welded from the factory. Well I dont see any welds. My question is can any reputable welder weld the crank or is it something that has to be sent out to be done by a professional. I want to get this thing done and just now opened the crank to look at it. I have looked at many pictures of welded cranks online and it doesnt look like it could be that hard. Thanks.

I just finished building a 421 Cub and I am needing a start point for my jetting. Elevation 1400 feet temp 85 Degrees. 421 Cub 4mm Long rod 34mm Mikuni CPI in frames pipes +5 timing 20 CC domes in a noss head no porting

I pulled the carbs and pipes off a bike running the same setup only with a little more aggressive porting. The mains are at 280 and the needle is in the middle. I am running at 1400 feet and the temp was about 75 degrees.

I just switched out my pipes and carbs for a set of 34mm Mikunis and a set of CPI inframes. I noticed a large decrease in power. The bike will start first kick and idle like a dream. It it has less lowend but I expected that with the CPI pipes. It does not rev out like it used to. It feels very sluggish on the top end. I checked the plugs and it seems to be running a little bit rich, but nothing major. Do you think that it is too much carb for the bike. Here is what the bike has for mods. Mild Dune port 34mm Carbs Cpi Pipes pods +4 timing

I have a set of each and deciding between running the 2 or the 3. I searched and did not find what I am looking for. I want opinions from people who are running the reeds. I am going to be running them on a 421 Cub and would like to know what reed setup to run. Thanks

What kind of paddles are you running. All paddles are not equal. I would recommend an 8 Paddle Skat Trak Hauler 20x12x8 or a ITP Sand Star. I would also look into a smaller set of carbs. You can pick up a cheap set on ebay. Save your 35mm carbs you will need them later. Look into a good dune port job. Back the time off about 3 degrees.

So I must of priced it to cheap. I put in on craigslist and within an hour I had 4 calls. I sold it to the first guy that called.

Up for sale is a set of YFZ450 Shocks and A Arms. Here is the best part of the deal with the shocks and A arms you get the entire bike with a blown motor for no extra charge. Price is $1500 and the Location is Columbus, NE. I am going to try and sell entire bike first and if I cant I will part it out and sell the A arms. I bought a Banshee and this came with it as a package deal. I really really want this thing out of my garage.

I have one. I used it three or four times. It has all the accesories that came with it. It does have a small scratch on the outer lense for the cover, but it works fine and with no probs. Will sell for $80 shipped.
