Last time I was out at gordons, the bike to beat was a Banshee with some CRAZY sounding street bike engine in it...That thing was fucking insaine, sounded sweet as hell too! Very cool sound coming off that one, maybe a +4 stroker on NOS could beat it but im not sure, im doubtfull!...But well, its not exactly a 350 anymore ! so Jim what will I need to beat your +4 stroker? a + 7 stroker?

what is so great about the size of the stockers? If you really want to go bright, get a battery kit and a 100 watt HID bulb in an aluminum mount...Oh wait you didn't want small, that that setup would probably be about the same a 1000W hallogens!

Hey guys, I'm just about ready but I have a couple things I'd like to get straightened out. 1st) If someone needs a Taillight I have one they can borrow, Just not the rubber mounts. 2nd) Should I install the stock silencers BEFORE I go or jsut bring them with me just in case? 3rd) CEJoe, I can't wait to see your grab bar! 4th) Evil Save me 2 stickers! Well I changed my oil, Oiled the air filter, bought the race fuel and I'm all set to go... I think my K&N might be worn out though there was a little fine sand in my airbox after last weekends ride...Not sure If I sould be running it or not. The K&N looks fine But I have no idea how to tell if it needs to be replaced before I head out...Maybe I'll just hange back a ways if it gets really dusty,,,Or jet out in front! But from the looks of some of yuor Banshees ill probably hang back lol... Evil...Can I still get 2 of them stickers?

mine started to seperate with low compression and stock pipes... Sounds to me like they want to make some money off you and replace it with a weisco. IMO I would not want them to work on my Banshee.

Here are some pics, you can see the bulge in the lense where it Melted... I stuck a Royal Blue LED in it, Different than those on my bike to light up underneath...These are made to be radiometric (Reacts with neon) Kinda like a blacklight, onyl without UV rays. Not very bright but I have not bought the new lights for the mod yet.... Definately makes me want to do the mod though!! I figure for an extra 10 watts for BOTH lights I can be getting the same light 60 watts worth of halogens would be putting out...This way I can continue running 55's or 75's with them and have some light off to the side for mroe intense night rides.

damn thats not what I wanted to hear...I wanted to hear that I could jsut replace the lense Again I don't want to buy $150 lights just to run some 5 watt LED's in their place...I guess I'll just have to figure out a way to make my own lights... Damn that sucks

I have it all apart but can't figure out how to get the bulb out. I have 75 watt ricky stator Illuminators on my handlebars So I currently do not use these lights. However, I wanted to try to put some 5 watt LED's in there or maybe just some 3 watters (green or cyan) and point them off to the side... THis wasy I could still run these lights with 55 or 75 watt bulbs.. I just need the lense and reflector so no need to get Hellas...Or anyting else expensive...It just sucks the lense melted right before I wanted to put in these 5 watt LEDs

Well I was getting my shee ready for dumont I pulled off the eyeball light covers and to my suprose the lense had Melted and there is a huge buble on the stock lense poking outwards.. Guess someone, maybe me, but someone had clicked the switch on while riding How much does it cost to replace the lense? Also how the heck do I pull the bulb out of the light?

Harbor freight has a clicky torque wrench that goes down to 5 lbs 3/4 inch for like $10....Works for me! Might be back up to $20 now though...but still a good price.

more than likely you have the same problem I had when I changed the oil for the first time. IF you have changed the oil anyways. When I first changed the oil I removed the drain plug an dset aside, let all the oil drain out replaced the plug and re-filled with oil... Unfortunately I did not notice the small copper washer was STUCK to the case, and it fell off in the middle of draining the oil when I was not looking. No way you would really notice this since it fell inot the pan I was draining the oil into..... lol...Then even if you snug up the plug you will have a slight oil leak... if you emptied the oil pan, make sure to look for the little washer when you go to drain it.

I just clean mine with highly concentrated simple green.....And don't worry about getting them dirty because simple green takes that crap right off.

Your Shee looks just like mine.. I fianly shaved off the dumbo ears since I ride 90% sand only anyways, Made the rides alot more fun since you can see exactly what your tires are hitting..I love it and wish I did it earlier! If you want to see pics of what your shee woudl look like see my post maybe a page back in the images forum. What do you guys trim yorus with? I used a hacksaw -> Rasp -> 80 grit -> 200 grit sand paper, left a more perfect edge than are ont he plasitcs where I did not cut them! My cuts witht he hacksaw sucked, especialy one the one side where I had to cut it left handed, but the rasp magically smoothered everything flat and even...

Paint the stock frill, cut plastics, shiny rims, clear radiator hoses. Not sure how much $$ it costs to poweder coat hubs? But maybe you could paint them if you don't have alot of $$ Sticker kits... etc...

Well im going to starty packing this weekend, chang oil etc...I just hope it stops rainging long enough for me to do it...School really does not want me to go, but f*ck it because I am really starting to not like school... Someone will probably try to do something right at the last moment to stop me from coming, but im going to go! My friend is coming also with a YZ250 and a black ranger. There will be signs posted right? I have never been to dumont before, so im a little nervous about finding people if it is anything like glamis or gordons.

If I ever see you at glamis im going to roost the shit out of you. Even if you had a 727, its obvious you would not know how to ride it. I have never sceen a 727 at alba, and they have been trying to sell those quads at a huge discount since they no longer make them...

if its only a very very slight bend you could probably fix it, But if you want to change size anyways buy a new one.

I think it would work, I have clear hoses and I like the look. Using my Blue LED in the pics from the images forum would get it to glow quite nicely. It would glow EVEN more if I had used radiometric blue (ROyal Blue) LEDs which will be available when I get the kits farther along. This stuff makes anything glow in the dark light up like crazy, it will even react with neon colors. I tested a radiometric blue the other day and the affect was amazing. They are not as bright as the Regular blue LEDs sceen in the pictures but the glow affect is definately intensified.

I suggest you do not get the 12-port, I don't like competition!

WTF this guys probably does not even know how to replace his blue powerband! And I bet he has worn muffler bearings too.

I always thoguht the resistor plugs prevented interfernece cause by the plug, not stoped interference form affecting the plug...?!?

damn for $330 you could have bought 3 new stators!
