  1. all I know is the last part, you might need to change your pilot jet to change the idle....
  2. Ahh a switch might be nice...I set them up to turn on with the lights, do you guys think a switch is definately something that should be included? Does it matter where it is located? I can get them in any color but not UV or yellow... only Royal Blue wich illuminats Neon like a blacklight but not everything UV sensitive like clear UV....Very cool color but not so bright.. red, red/orange, green, cyan, blue, white, etc...I can also change power consumption for brightness and price depending on color etc...They wouold mount up using stock locations...I hope it would also work on OLD banshees without modification or special mounting but considering the amount of work people do on here it should not be that big of an issue.... I don't want to get anyone too excited like I did before, I will have to make some phone calls etc...I have to pull my prototype off the shee this week and go for a drive Good news is I have PLENTY of time. Well ...I still have to finish this keg, guess my friends are too wussy to help me out so I'll have to polish off this 1/4 keg by MYSELF!!!!!! Blue moon rocks! Oh yea, and if I'm stealing the post tell me to STFU and I'll stop posting in this thread.! Stan, thanks for the kind words
  3. hey Bro, I still don't have it....Starting to get worried..I got my stickers and everything else last time so maybe the mail is just slow?
  4. actually chetta, i sent u the carbs and i had them for close to a month before i sent them to u. walt rush shipped them to my house before the glamis trip so i could have a backup set of carbs in case i didn't like my setup.walt is a standup guy in my book . Wowa I didn't realize I was getting some, used, used, used carbs from 370 ...Well As long as they are in good shape I won't complain.. I honestly can't imagine 370 ripping anyone off after dumont...
  5. wow nice billet you dip sticks! oh wait I mean nice billet dip sticks you guys! I like the first version the best.
  6. thanks guys, I was just trying to figure this out, I have pleny of clear spray paint! What do you do with the safty wire?
  7. NEONS! EEEK Ok now these are NOT neons...sorry I have been working on something a little better untill college got in the way... I graduated a little over a week ago but i'm still trying to polish off this keg of blue moon from my party. Anyways I have started making plans again and I CAN release some prototype kits this summer. The problem is that I'm not sure anyone would want to pay $60-80 to help me test the prototypes, and being unemployed (recently lost student job because I am no longer a student) I can't afford to hand out a few test kits...
  8. another thought is you can always sell a pro design head to get the noss one, might be the same price as purchasing new domes if you decided...Good luck.
  9. yea don't polish teh intake, but you an remove some casting flaws
  10. get the ricky stator because rich is a great guy to deal with
  11. I hear the wicked head is pretty good...But I also run the Noss head because the other is over priced and I can use pro design domes int eh Noss head, although I'm running special cut domes anyways I run 19CC domes and mix 50/50 race gas ...But I'm ported...I would thik 18CC you would almost need to run straight race gas? or is this just because I am ported?
  12. I have not recieved it yet, I guess it takes up to a week though right?
  13. I wish I was going....I don't thnk I'll have my carbs on by then...I think I'm going to have to wiat untill next year to ride...But maybe...you never know.
  14. I would go for the toomy ones..>So you could not bend it back? If you can bend it back perfectly straight you should not have any problems...you can just work it around on a flat table... Why does everyone just say buy new needles? Hey are so expensive for what you get... I believe the toomy's and vitos have a different taper that will affect your mid-throttle jetting.
  15. here ya go How much would both of these mods cost? Holyman, Is the cord onlt necessary after you modify the kick starter? I'm thinking bout sending mine to you because I just caught the rattle Not too crazy about the cord though.
  16. man florida is flat and full of old people! Hope the money is worth it!
  17. rease you can polish the exhaust port and get rid of the factory casting flaws (not polished but evened down some) I think thats what they consider polishing...The thing with porting is that it can usualy only be done once, so you want to make sure you get a good job, like from jim at passion.
  18. I straightened both my needles...I just bent them back and rolled them along the table to make sure they were true. I don't know why this wouldnet work..
  19. damn you guys pay a ton for race gas, I have been getting FNL111 for $4 a gallon Of course normal gas here is $2.50 so i guess that makes up for it... I wish I could go with you all, but having graduated school and lost my Job it's just not possible to get across the United Stated right now. Perhaps thigns will pick up for me next year I can make the next trip.
  20. nope I never got my roostfest shirt, but I did Pay Pal you...You said you had 1 large left.
  21. Sell the T-max and get a Savage? oh wait, you got it out
  22. Porting is usualy enlarging and reshaping your intakes and transfers to flow more fuel and air. Big Difference. Boring is just making the cylinder one size larger, but the intakes transfers and exhaust are not changed so you are not really flowing much more than before. Polishing is basicaly removing all the factory blemishes and casting flaws, it helps but not as much as a Port+polish...I guess you could just polish it, but If I was going to do that i would go ahead and get it ported too... Then you can enjoy more gains later from carbs and reeds too. Typicaly I believe most places bore it a size or two over to get rid of any harmfull burs left from the porting so you would want to do this before you bore it out.
  23. raising your compression is harder on the crank..mne started to seperate after 4 years of riding even with stock compression...Splitting the case to pull the crank is about 1 million times harder than pulling off the head. I would do the head, new topend and crank at the same time if possible, which usualy it isnt
  24. indublitably has some T5's for sale in the B/S/T forum...I think he is asking 350 for good conditions T5's
