  1. Mine had a little rust too, I would replace your gasket after you clean it up.
  2. I liked getting mine new cause I know where it's been and so I could customize it as I wanted (port it etc) but I also had some extra cash at the time.
  3. The Stator and timing plate are worth it if you ride at night, flywheel helps keep your lights bright at idle.
  4. I also Hear they have a much better waranty than BendyBlue (Lifetime) Just not 1 replacement according to the person I spoke with at rocky mountain. I still might go with a LoneStar for only $70 more, I hear they are working to make the G-force even stronger as of now though.
  5. they fit on my friends 250R I'm pretty sure they have the proper holes drilled for a banshee too, it's just a different fit. But what I really want to know is the difference in weight and strength between the 2.
  6. yea if you are will to pay the whole whoopin $7 for some bell ray then you won't have to change your oil every single trip... Just get a magnetic drain plug and use good oil...It's not that expensive! You won't see me using crap oil in my banshee for Pre-mix, and the case is much more of a pain to rebuild thant he topend.
  7. jsut make sure it is jetted correctly and you will not overheat, especialy not on a stock bike!
  8. Do the series 6 C-series form ITP weight more than Douglas Black Lable? I'm looking for rims to go on some 9 paddle extremes, but can't decide what rims to get. The C-series 6 say they are lighter than the 5's which average 7.5 lbs... But how much lighter? How much do black lable weight? I was thinking about getting blue lable again but Dunno how I bent my rim last time. Luckily it still holds air but I plan on doing a little more jumping after I get suspension. Still wanna be fast at the hill though. So how much do ITP 6 C Series Weight and how much do Douglas Black Lables weigh? been searching forever and I can't find the specs for the rims I need.
  9. I got a billet polished manifold ogg enbay for cheap, it removes the balance tube holes. Only costed like $80 or something maybe it was 60. I have great throttle response.
  10. I ONLY use 2-stroke oil made for a wet clutch. Anything else you should be chaning after EVERY ride. But hey it's your bottem end....
  11. DId you balance the clutch plates and line the arrows up on the clutch housing when you installed it?
  12. If you went up 30 HP I would go up 2 teeth on the front 15 hp 1 tooth on the front if you had it set to where you liked it before. I hear each tooth on the rear is about 4-5HP difference (Determining what gear you can pull on the hill. (for example Old's hill) if you can jsut pull 4th with a 13 then you go up 30HP then you shoudl go up 2 teeth. Personaly I loved riding the dunes with the 13 on the front. I put pipes K&N Jetted, and then went down a tooth instead of up. Seemed about right to me. If yu don't like to shift buy a thumper. I would think a 15 would be fine for Trails and a 13 for the dunes. I'm running a 14 for the duens now that I am ported but would consider running a 16 for desert-non dunes and open flats.
  13. V-force Reeds are great for throttle response, With single carb you lose top-end. I also eliminated the crossover tube, I hear if yoru carbs are synced it can add some response in doing so, but I have not been able to tell any difference
  14. Try a 13-41 and go from there, are you able to pull 4th before 1/2 way the steep side of olds? Also I gueest forcing the 450 to race up the steeper side of the hill (right side) becayse the 450's we be slowing down a little towards teh top and you will still be accelerating. After my 12-port the 15 pulled gears the same as the 14 in the front stock. However Ia lways liked the 13. I swapped it to a 14 and it pulls the gears jsut a little easier than with the 13 stock before porting, so Now SI htink I'm going to try a 14-40 and see how that goes I'm thinking 14-40 will be about perfect for olds but also still perfect for china wall. Takes some practivce but a 15 tooth on a stock she is way to tall IMO for racing up olds. I would go with a 13 you will probably love it. Also what kinda paddles? THe weight and quality of the paddle tire will make a BIG difference.
  15. I think I get a little more than 2 miles per gallon. But that is dune riding so who knows what i am really getting
  16. I thought that was how you could tell when it's warmed up! no need for a temp gauge
  17. you can also remove a link with a dremel by grinding down the tab. If you walready have a dremel or die grinder
  18. I just had the same dialema, Ended up getting the Quicksand +2 swinger in chrome with an annodized red carrier
  19. No I convinced teh guy at the counter to hook me up with the industrial attachment instead of the stock one, it was more springy and attaches nicely. Damnit I don't wanna spend that much on ZERKS!
  20. Well I got this new grease gun which broke 3 of my gease zerks trying to detach it form the zerks... Took it back to the store and they gave me a replacement which works fine... Anyways, I bought some new zerks from kragen for $5 the only metric ones they sell and they do not fit,.... so I guess the Banshees stock A-arm Zerks are not 6mm? What the hell are they then? Are they using some sorta special thread size? Please help, need to ride!
  21. Shee Glamis Halloween 2004 video, and yet I never heard this on the news, just some stupid shit about ODB Maybe I have been too buisy...this really ticks me off
  22. hell it can take me that long just to adjust the chain with the stock carrier lol
  23. I can make it from the far end of glamis to china wall and back and still have enough gas to pla on the hill with my 12-port and 33mil carbs. if anyone knows how far that is to give youa good idea.
