back on topic, politicians should have to pay social security because they should feel the affects of the laws they are creating...they should not be exempt and should not have a "special" plan for them. Who says their shit dosnet stink! Oh wait I forgot this is the united states.... not all rich people pay as much tax as you would think though and this is a fact, there is some dirty politics goin on in this county. For example I'll pick on Mr m$. Say a candidate needs some funding so he calls up mr M$ and asks for some help. well Mr Gates would gladly fund him for 2 reasons. 1) It's a HUGE tax write off so he is giving up money he is loosing anyways 2) When the candidate gets elected he owes mt M$ some favors for his generosity - this is how the power houses consume everything, and gain power. don't be fooled this happens all the time...ALL the time! And the news tries to make people look crazy for Protesting against the yearly WTO meeting where a handful of people make decisions that affect the lives of the rest of the people in the United States working class. Including you me and other average people making ONLY 200,000 a year It's not the people making 2k a year that are the problem, or the famous people or talented actors musicians etc...It's the Capitolists that are running the USA that are not visable to the public. I don't expect anyone to believe me the evidence is out there, but 'm sure you all disagree since argusing politics in an ATV forum is as effective and useful as getting a lapdance from a fat hairy chick.

I see alot of people running sand stars on their ported or stroked banshees. I would go with them. Even on a stock see I'm sure they are fine, but Skate II's might be better ona stock shee with jsut pipes. if you have mods beyond that go with the sand stars! Skate II's being less agressive (probably slide a bit easier and are also lighter than teh sand stars by quite a bit (I think it was aorund 2 lbs each) but if yo have too much HP you will get alot of wheel spin with Skate II's just so yo know ITP C-series rims are 2 lbs heavier each than blue lable douglas, so that like adding ~40 lbs dead weight to your bike just for getting them over blue lable! Gotta rememebr Rotating Mass kills Torque or is it HP.... However Blue Lable are kinda thin, so I went with black lable still 1.5 lbs lighter than C-series. I believe the red lables are still also still lighter than C-series.... Polished C-series ITP's sure look cool though! Taller Haulers kinda suck form what I hear, they are too much hookup and wear out very fast because the paddles are thinner than the extreme haulers and also longer. yes they will make it harder to turn also. This 2 reasons definately pushed me to get extremes over taller haulers. and the extremes still have PLENTY of bite. I was suprised how well the Sand Stars hooked up on Dunedeamons banshee last time we were out, for a V-blade I don't think you can much more hookup with the same performance.

if you get FMF Pipes and Ditch the Lid ont he air box compleatly try running a 310 main. I ran a 320 for 4 years and it was almsot perfect but a little rich. Also you will have to change the needle clip position I believe down 1 notch (3rd notch from the top) Toomy pipes should be close too....Cause I know you ride glamis/ ocatillo area I would suggest you finish breaking in the engine before doing WOT runs, at the end of your next trip your rings should have somewhat sealed.

Interesting oil information.
Justintoxicated replied to RNBRAD's topic in General Banshee Discussion
again this guy says with amsoil and a proper filter you can go 15,000 miles on your oil! I dunno about doing that on a banshee! or any performance vehicle....Maybe in my truck or something...But I do not think this applies to 2-strokes. If So that would mean you NEVER need to change the oil in the banshee case. And having a magnetic drainplug that collects all the filings floating aorund I would definately not recomend even pushing 1000 miles before an oil change! -
When you say you can tell a difference what exactly is it? and also does this require that I set my timing back to 0 on my adjustable timing plate?

Interesting oil information.
Justintoxicated replied to RNBRAD's topic in General Banshee Discussion
not much usefull here since it specificaly talks about 4-pokes... I was hoping it would talk about pre-mix or 2-stroke case oil.... Rather it goes on about oil filters and lifters n such....Maybe I'm missing something but I don't think much of this information can be applied to a 2-stroke other than to use synthetic oil over petro based -
another solution would be for everyone to become a politician! Definately makes me sick...Then again, there are people making WAY more than a politician makes in his entire life span (including after retirement) every day! This makes me even sicker! Brooke the problem is that we have no choice but to have the government pull from our paychecks! If I could not pay SS I wouldn't I'm not going to see a dime from SS by the time I retire...There will be no such thing. It's like a Tax on top of a Tax. Makes as much sense as having a tax on tax. Ya thats a good one! Hell as it is we pay 30% tax on your paycheck After state and federal (maybe even more), then a 7-10% tax when you purchase anything with your money that has already been taxed.... there goes 40% of your pay (about)! It makes no sense our pay is taxed then everything we buy we get taxed again...In Cali we also pay a gas tax and now they want to ditch that and create a mileage tax, where you pay tax for how many miles you drive instead of for gas! Sounds to me like they are trying to squeeze even more money out of us by hiding the issue at hand...yup screw all the people that bought hybrid vehicles! They found a loop hole in the gas tax so now we need a milage tax instead so they can pay like the rest of us, and have fugly cars! I just read something about purchasing things outside of the state where you avoided state tax are now supposed to be reported on your state tax sheet so they can tax you anyways! Where does it end! it is hard to save money when you loose nearly 50% of your total pay on taxes and interest, most of which ends up in the governemnts hands. But hey what do you all expect in a society based on Capitalism rather than democracy. Thats what that 50% of your check is called Capital! 100,000,000 people paying 50% of their wages that ends up in 5 peoples hands...Thats not profit, thats Robbery (or in other words the difference between Profit and Capital) Profit= making money, capital = stealing profit from others and leaving them with only their Living Labor amounts. captial does not even have to be money it can simply be having power over others.

yea have a good one for sure!

THey are good but have less hook than the sandstars. I loved them before I got porting (12-port) but afterwards they didn't have enough hook...Better than having too much hook though... I'd say if you shee is ported or stroked etc get Sand Stars, if not then just run Skate II's... Just my opinion... Skate II's are very light for a molded tire... Rememebr we are dealing with rotating mass here not dead weight... If your more into drag racing then you will not be happy with either tire... THey are more for handeling and being able to dune and slide the rear end around... My new extremes make me want to pull in a straight line. Depends what your looking for. I do have a set of Skate II's for sale, they have about 5 years of riding on them but I can get pictures if your interested they held up really well and I would still be runnign them if it was enough paddle for my porting. Looking for $100...theya re on blue lable douglas. Anyways Post more detail about what exactly you are looking for in a tire, and how much HP your makin...

Man, thats women for ya...Love you when they are getting what they want, then dump you the second they think they can have something better. And this they call love... Just feel lucky you did NOT Marry her! Think of how stupid you would have felt proposing in the first place! Women are damn good liars, give you trust and guilt trips tell you all this stuff about how much they care and can't bear to lose you. They will even chase after you if you break up with them....Then suddenly they leave you for new cock out of the fucking blue...pretty typical... On the bright side, you probably need to save all the money you can right now anyways... check this radio show out if you can! http://www.blowmeuptom.com/

weird I don't have that problem, Maybe you have too many paddles for your tire. I sceen the Sand Stars on a few shees and they seem to wrok great!

Justintoxicated replied to Skyy's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods

Just lost my job...along with my support team
Justintoxicated replied to ledofthezep's topic in General Banshee Discussion
ouch man, I kinda know what you are going through, the same thing happened to me last may, only I was only with my girl for 2.5 years...But still Lost the job, then the girl, and then could not find another one (job or girl). Hopefully you will find another Job faster than I did, it took me 6 months! And I could not collect unemployment either cause I was on a renewable contract...Don't wish situations like your upon anyone. Drinking binge helped for a while, but it wa sonly a temporary solution. Good thing is that I now have a better job and better paying job than I have ever had, and I get to horde all the money for myself cause I don't have a hoe to spend it on (well I can go on dates but I'm not required to buy crap for B-day's Valentines etc) Still miss my ex sometimes but I would never have been able to start this new job if she had not left me. So yea, I guess sometimes things happen for a reason. Good luck with the Hunt! Might work on your resume a bit.. E-mot-ions, are, e-last-ic...they stretch out and back,, out and back.. sometimes... ...they just snap! they don't come back! They NEVER come back! -311 -
Already posted these but what the hell, kinda fit here better...From this last weekend. The pic of the truck was Robbie Gordon Behind Old's hill I think it was from 2000 cause I didn not have my digital and I believe it was one of my first trips with the Shee.

They wear out quickly when not on sand...Might want to look at Skat-Track Desert Storms or the other version that is similar, they look interesting but I have never bought a set... I have a set of Skate II's for sale for $100 on blue lable, they are 5 years old (sand use only) and a bit worn but your going to go through them quickly anyways...I can take pics if your interested.

I thought the weather was kinda shity myself, but when I got back to the LBZ I realized that I had avoided Sever Flooding....The Parks here looked like Lakes and many of the freeways wre/are closed! So it beat the hell out of staying here! Still had alot of fun even though the dunes were chopped to shit and I don't have any fron't suspension.... I always wondered what would happen if you tossed a full propane tank in the fire....NOW I KNOW!
-
I was going to get one but now I don't even have an airbox lol
-
I kinda miss Gordons, we should go there sometime Matt. The best thing about gordons is that my bike is smokin fast out there, but take it to glamis and I have to deal with all the other ported and stroked banshees Plus you can party at the hill at night there still without the rangers kicking everyone out. I guess this isn't a good weekend to review my new extreme haulers, or the break in my new chrome swiger...Figures it would rain after I got all my shit and took vacation n such.... WTH is up with the rain this year! it woudl have made more sense last year....

Can't believe this shit!

good luck! I would take it! -
I know a bit about non-slr digital cameras. I did ALOT of research before buying mine) (Canon S410 is what I decided on for my needs and I love it!, not the S500, A95, or G6) (depends on what your needs are and the size of the photos you need to print. I usualy print 8x10's so anything over 4mp is overkill. Do you want a big one or a small one? Pocket size, medium size (pocketable but not small, or larger - has more zoom) How long of video do you want to be able to record? Are you willing to sacrifice picture quality for better video? (as of now there is no best of both worlds but there are som terrific cameras that do both) How many MP do you need or think you need and why? How Durable do you need it to be? What is the most important aspect of a picture to you? (sharpness, clarity, color, low noise or a mix of them all?) it is pretty much true that the smaller the lense and the more MP (combo of the two) will produce MORE image noise. so if you have a 5+ mp camera that is super small low light shots will have a TON of noise. (Unless it's a sony, but the sony reduces detail and smooths images with it agressive noise reducing algorithms - produces softer images) This is due to smaller pixels in the lense being more sensitive to light, so it's actualy better to have Larger pixels for recording the image as long as the lense can fit enough of them. if your interested send me a PM and next week I will get a chance to send you some good review sites (they are bookmarked on my home PC) I chose mine because it's Small, Durable (metal case), has extreamly good image quality for a camera of it's size, does not have overly agressive noise algorithms (which work well on low light shots but filter out too much detail in day shots), ok macro shots, and is the best balance for MP/Size without producing a ton of noise. Uses Cheaper CF card memory. I'm a picture freak, I wanted the best pics available for a sub-compact and thats what I got!) It definately has some bad thigns about it too. Battery low warning tells you about 3 seconds before your battery dies. Only does 320 TRUE rez video (some cameras claim 640 but onyl at reduced framerate or using algorithms that are really capturing 320x2) but for 3 mins at a time which inst too bad. However I cannot stream untill the card is full. You will find all cameras have their ups and downs and Higher MP does not mean Better Images it means larger prints! Sony's are good for example at using high MP in a sub-compact size, but they use expensive memory, the 640 rez vids do not look that great (compairing to some new SD card Canon Digital elphs witchc are VERY High quality vids in comparison). They produce softer images (more detail is blured together (makes old peopls skin look better though heh) but this appears for example when looking at someones hair. And they are less durable, have a larger but lesser quality LCD on their P series vs digital elphs. I'm not dissing yoru sonys!
