I moved mine to the front also, it holds extra coolant (which is also typical cooler than the coolant int he radiator). It does work up front under the nose WAY better. I notice it changes levels all the time. It also does not spill onto my pipes anymore due to the line having to go almsot up the the bars before coming out onto the pipe. That and the engine ice
Personaly I like it. It's hard to tell if your coolant is full without one (without pulling off the plastics to check after every ride.) As long as there is coolant in the bottle your radiator should be full.
Typicaly when you are going up a hill or going down a hill, or when your radiator gets hot the coolant expands cools off etc it needs to release coolant or suck some back in. If you run without a bottle there is a good chance your radiator is not 100% full all the time. It can spit some coolant back out but it can't suck anything back in. Same principle as on a car, if you don't fill your radiator up all the way you might not need to overflow bottle...
I personly don't care about a little extra weight, but then again I ride my Banshee for long periods of time not just 10 seconds down a drag strip.
