  1. Best pic on my phone with my PT's mounted. You can see the pipes are rubbing on the spud. That is after "massaging" the bottom of the pipes too... Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk
  2. That is measuring from the lower bolt hole for the motor mount bracket. I didn't measure the height, but it appears to be around 1/2"-3/4" tall above the main frame rails. Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk
  3. I will get measurments in a little bit. Time to get the kids in bed. Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk
  4. On every other Laeger Banshee frame I have seen with nerf bar spud, they have welded in the spud closer to the engine by about 1.5-2". Not mine though... Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk
  5. That's kinda what I am figuring, but we will see. At home on the track I don't need peak power, broad linear power is more of my needs there. At the sand it will be nice to have that extra over rev though. Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk
  6. That will be awesome! I won't have mine together till the end of the month. Waiting for Cam to complete the build. Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk
  7. Cam was suggesting CPI's. They don't look like they will fit my bike very easily because of the nerf bar spud issue. Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk
  8. Not the greatest pic. Still in the trailer and dirty from the trip... I will see if I can dig up another with my pipes mounted. Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk
  9. Copy that. Thanks Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk
  10. They are the High Rev version, not the mids, which hopefully will make a difference. I really prefer the ease of access and the ergonomics of the PT's when getting low and cornering hard, but if they don't work, the Snipers "appear" to be my next choice. Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk
  11. Yes Dave! Now how about one more down a little lower, level with the frame rails. Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk
  12. I will ask Cam about setup differences. Things don't fit 100% like OEM on my chassis, especially the exhaust, so I am hesitant to change if I don't need to. Any dyno sheets on a 4 mil Serval? Mine will be 5 mil. Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk
  13. I am. I'm gonna wait and see how the new motor does first with my PT High Revs. If my PT's don't cut it, I was thinking Shears at first, but am leaning more towards Snipers if they will clear my nerf bar spud and will perform correctly. Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk
  14. Just got done reading the links. Is that rjdgriff's (?) 10 mil Serval? Edit: Never mind, you beat me to it Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk
  15. Any dyno numbers or sheets? Who built it? What specs? Carbs, reeds, ect Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk
  16. But, isn't the question if any one has used them on a Serval? Can you post some side view shots of yours Dave? I want to see how low they sweep down out of the exhaust spigots. The Snipers look like they don't sweep as low as most other pipes. I have clearance issues on my Laeger with the location of my nerf bar spud on the front. I noticed them on Skoot's but not yours I guess. Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk
  17. Who Dave? Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk
  18. Looks good to me. Your choice of Yellow SE plastics makes more sense now. I should have booger swabbed the plastics the first day I was at Cam's when I had the chance... Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk
  19. You're gonna want to have your crank checked out while your motor is apart. Looks like there is a bit of metal debris in the pic of the damaged cylinder. Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk
  20. Sprinklerman is right. I just experienced an almost identical failure to this with my stock cylinder setup. My stock cylinders are bored to 66 mm and have very similar looking port work. I made the decision to go away from stock cylinders and have Redline build me a ported Serval. There was only about a $100 difference in going the Serval route versus starting over correctly with stock cylinders. Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk
  21. Exactly!!! Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk

  24. Props to Cam for a classy and level headed response to all of this. I admire Cam's willingness to admit his faults with a sense of humility. Seems to me like the bottom line is that Frank needed to have communicated and expressed his troubles and frustrations better to Cam and that Frank needed to be a little more patient in resolving the issues. Easier said then done of course when you're trying to get ready at the last minute for a ride. Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk
