    I can drive an hour north and get 110 at the pump for the $7 - $8 range, but any details about it are unknown and I don't think they sell a whole lot of, which leaves me very hesitant to buy it. Seems like buying a fresh barrel each time, even though more costly, is a lot safer investment on a high dollar motor.

    Ouch....! The highest I've paid for VP C12 is about $12 per gallon buying a full barrel at a time. It was closer to $9 a couple of years back.

    What I'm trying to get at is how much difference with there be in the low/mid using the mid range pipes versus higher revving. Meaning, are you only sacrificing top end and rev out, or is there a negative effect across the entire curve with the Serval, especially one that is ported.

    I think the biggest question is how much difference is there in bottom and mid range power on the Serval using a mid range style of pipes versus the top end pipes.     I really love having them separate. A guy just needs a complete break for anything work related at times. Plus its nice to get in the family / play rig and not worry about dirt from the seat belts and what not getting your casual clothes dirty.
