Are you mostly riding Oregon coastal sand?
I have found I prefer my 10 paddle skat trak edges, 20 11 10's over my 8 paddle sand stars 20 11 10's in the Oregon sand.
I like the idea of trying to group up in that V area.
I think Dave has the right idea about it.
That's about the same spot I was in I believe.
Seems like I remember there being a decent grouping of trees there too.
I have spent two full days at Cam's shop personally.
His phone rings I would guess every 5 min.
The man is busy. He is busy because he is good at his craft, he is personable, and his aftersales service is excellent too.
Be patient, he's not running a McDonalds
Symptoms like a leaking pressure gauge??
Why are you even asking if there is water in a carb?? You just did a complete rebuild, including a thorough cleaning and inspection of the carbs, riiight??
Start over fresh tomorrow. Use a bicycle tire pump to build pressure up to 6 lbs then wait and listen.
Start diagnosing from there. Use your ears and the bottle of soapy water.
Did you seal your PTO side key and key way?
Its a good thing you took the time to do the leak down test!

You should not be building any pressure into the tranny or clutch area. If you hear air out the breather there is a leak.
