One of my first banshee's was a j-arm banshee. After going through a couple j-arms I went this route. You can pick up a frame with a title for a reasonable price and it makes the perfect time for a frame up restoration and allows you to build your quad how you want it or just clean it up as you swap. For the price you can pick up a j-arm banshee sometimes its worth it if you don't mind doing the work.

It's about 4 hours from me so it's a decent little haul but not bad. We should plan a trip to an open practice day zilla

I think I might give it a try. Probably run over there sometime this summer and see how the track and staff are and if I like it I might run their winter race schedule this coming year. Will give me something to do and keep me in shape a little over the off season. As long as my quad is still together after this summer schedule.

Anyone live closer than 4hrs to this place?

Not sure, I was wondering the same thing. Seems like that would be the issue trying to vent the fumes but keep the heat in. I know in a few pics I seen it looked like they left the overhead door up.

You should try to make the HQ badlands trip in Attica that we have planned in April. -
Best of craigslist..................

It is a nice bike for the money tho. I would take a chance and deal with him on it. Maybe talk him down on price due to turbo down pipe needing replaced or being low on front brake light signal fluid. -

I know jetting isnt that hard. I mentioned the Indiana weather comment because temperature changes extremes. Last week we had days were it was high 30's and then hung around the single digits the first of this week and then woke up this morning to -14. Supposed to be back in the twenties next week. That's what me and hursty mean by making jetting hard cause we are constantly doing it do to weather changes being so uneven. -

Welcome.. One of my first banshee's was a J-arm, It didn't stay that way long after I seen how easy they bend. The easiest route I found was to pick up an A-arm frame and some arms and switch everything over. Simple and easy to do and I liked the idea better instead of chopping and welding since I didn't have the resources to do it at the time. Good luck and keep us updated Looks good so far. -

Def check which jets are in the carbs, if its anything like the indiana weather, it might run fine now but by the time warmer riding season comes around you will be changing those quick. I would go ahead and stock up on a few sizes smaller than what is currently in it for when it warms up. Throw a new plug in it and one thing I usually do if I buy a quad off craigslist is drain the gas tank out. I never trust what octane fuel the previous owner might have used knowing they are getting ready to sell it or if the quad set for a period of time and feel better knowing i'm pushing the correct and fresh fuel through it. Other than those couple of things and the items listed above, good luck and have fun. You might not be looking to add anything to it yet but the urge (addiction) will come soon so get the wallet ready. Shawn -

This color red (mirror red...i think) or reflex blue is what I plan to do my frame in next overhaul. By far two of my favorite PC colors. -
I agree, kinda small and tight so hopefully they don't load heats up to much but does look like a decent little place to ride. I like that they have a winter schedule.

Has anyone ever ridden at the Earlywine Racing indoor motocross facility in Maysville, KY? Looks like a neat little place. Just seeing if there is anyone that has opinions on it. I wouldn't mind running their winter MX schedule next year if its a decent place to ride. Probably wouldn't be able to do all the races since its about 4 hours from me. http://www.earlywineracing.com/index.html

New rims and wheels for my Banshee, what do you think?

I talked to Brandon and he said they don't carry OMF, so check around. -

I agree with the majority, not a fan of the SS wheels. Had a buddy with them on his Z400 and I was not a fan of them at all. I currently have the ITP T-9 Pro Series Baja wheels on my 250r and they are great and hold up well at the track. I am looking into hipers and OMF's next tho since I am wanting to change to a beadlock. Lot of great choices out there but I would stay away from the cheesy ss look. -
Nevermind, got my answer off your site. Was curious is whole fenders were possible and now I know
