  1. Not off the top of my head but I will ask around. I have a few buddies that live up around their and north of it. If I was a little closer to Attica I would say you could crash at my place to save some money and store the quads in the barn but I'm about 45 min south of Attica which is out of your way.

  3. Haha, I called and got an answer. He picked up cause my number was a local number.
  4. Look through what Vito's carries to try and match up which K&N you need. http://www.vitosperformance.com/atv_parts/home.php?cat=186
  5. DUDERS!!! http://terrehaute.craigslist.org/sno/4342604042.html
  6. I think its Part #RU0200 but I am not 100%. That's the 4" straight filter for the 26-28 MM mikuni carbs.
  7. Dual 38's is a little much for your set up. Smaller carbs would suit you much better and would make tuning much easier in my opinion.
  8. Yes you need to rejet. I would start with a 260-270 and work my way down from that. Might need to bump the pilot up a size also but the main will definitely need to be changed before testing.
  9. you sure you are running rich on a 20 pilot? I would think a 20 would cause you to be a little lean. Whats your elevation?
  10. I have used bike bandit in the past. I have had great luck with the GBC XC Master tires and bike bandit doesn't carry them. ATv tire store is by far the cheapest place I have found to get the GBC xmaster tires.
  11. All of my banshee's have been trail bikes and I have competed in quiet a few XC races on my old banshees. I ran stock air box with no lid and PD with K&N with outerwears and never had one issue with water and I have gotten my quad deep in river bottoms. You should be more than fine with the stock airbox with no lid. Just make sure you keep the drain plug screen clean so that water doesn't build up in your air box, seen this happen quiet a few times with kids not cleaning the screens.
  12. How stiff is the tension on the cable? stiff or pulls easy
  13. X2. Roll design makes some nice shit. But they have the price tag to back it up. I have had great luck with Roll Design and Houser Products.
  14. I have ran heims on my last 2 bikes without problems and I ride mainly woods and muddy tracks. I am tho the type of person to clean my bike after every ride and I don't let dirt or mud sit on the bike and I also lube them after every clean. This extends their life considerably and keeps the infamous "squeaking" away. I don't think they would be a good soot for someone that doesn't clean their bike and maintain the joints properly, if your this type then I would definitely stick to ball joints.
  15. I probably have one laying around. Let me check this evening when i get home from work and I will let you know if you haven't already found one.
  16. Really depends on what is available and if you don't mind tinkering around on them. Some prefer to find an already built bike and some prefer the rollers. I prefer to buy a cheap roller because no matter how nice a bike is there is always something I want to change (personal touch) so I would rather spend the cheap and build it how I want it instead of spending all my money on a nice bike that still has things I want to change but no extra funds left to do it. To each their own tho. Good luck in your hunt.
  17. Anyone have a coupon code for atvtirestore.com? Getting ready to order a full set of tires so just wanting to check before ordering. Thanks Shawn
  18. I am heading up to the badlands this Sunday 03/16 to get some cobwebs worked out if anyone wants to join let me know.
  19. That seems to be the trend of how all my bike builds start. I think my last full build started with just needing to replace axle bearings lol
  20. To the OP, no matter what you do, heim joints will squeak eventually tho. I take care of mine and they still squeak some. If you don't mind it (which I don't) then I wouldnt rule out the heim joint option. If you do then I would stick with ball joints.
  21. Understandable, I was just making sure there wasn't any other reasoning for avoiding using them. I have heard some that were not taken care of and man were they loud. I have found tho if you keep up with maintenance and lubricate them often they aren't bad. This isnt a big deal for me since I clean and maintain my bike very often but for someone that just likes to ride hard and put their shit away wet I can see where it would be a problem. I have had great luck with mine and prefer them over ball joints in most cases. Another one of the "to each their own" things in my opinion.
  22. Good looking R. I do like the way they handle over my banshee's I have owned. My R doesn't wear me out as bad in tight woods or on the track.
  23. Whats the reasoning for this? other than heims seem to squeek a little more if you don't lubricate them. I always ran balljoints and switched to heims on my last set of a-arms and I like them. Just curious for the reasoning of saying to stay away from them.
  24. It never hurts to have extra jets laying around.
