  1. That book has more info in it then just those two things...you fucking mentally challenged extremist. I am curious to what percentage of the little knowledge is in your tiny skull is generated from forums and google searching.
  2. Lmfao...you are one sad fucking panda. I recommend you stop creeping the forums for at least a little bit and read a blacksmith and wheelwright book. Good stuff.
  3. Did you not read where i said new would be better? Of course not you only hear what you want to in order to make yourself seem right. The way forum lurkers minds work. You are wrong unfortunately...can be made as strong or stronger, Worth doing over new? likely not unless you want to for hell of it. You could have your piece 2 ft piece of tubing and then you can give me a piece equal length but in pieces and i guarantee i can make my withstand more.
  4. Its not a matter of what is better, that is not the argument lmao...i said can be which means its possible to do so, overall hell no it wont be better than new. it will be heavier among other things but can be made as strong or stronger. Yet again we are not talking about something new, stop using that shitty extremist example. You are telling me you cant take say a 2 ft piece of metal uncut and then have another 2 ft piece of metal cut into 2 or 3 pieces and no matter the welding method, sleeve, plate, gusset etc you dont think it can be as strong?
  5. Keyword "can" did you catch that part? You know what that means? Variables.
  6. Im not saying its better, im saying it can be done if you wanted to and knew how to. Extremist.
  7. Idno maybe they should, i mean you save tons of material and time by welding a bunch of small pieces together right? So you dont think someone could weld up 3 pieces to have the same structural integrity as an equal length single piece? and were not talking about butt welding something together with a buzz box and 6011 rods.
  8. Why not? did you read somewhere on a forum or google that you cant? I know damn well you are not talking from experience. You pesky lil forum wheeler.
  9. Be nice to find a used set of AC nerfs, one of my favorite nerfs.
  10. Believe you can run a 250r or 400ex thumb throttle assembly also and has an easier push.
  11. i have ASV F3 levers, really like them, flexible, adjustable rebuildable.
  12. I have a hard time even bothering with trying anything other then Klotz, caster and Amsoil.
  13. Also make sure you follow the torque sequence which is written on the head, go 10 15 then 20 ft/lbs.
  14. Its likely leaking coolant into your cylinder due to a bad headgasket or warped sealing surface, which would also cause it to run like shit. Spray coppercoat on your headgasket if the sealing surfaces and gasket are good.
  15. White smoke is coolant, what kind of head do you have?
  16. Yea 35 PWK is a pretty common used carb, most 2 into 1s either graydon or trinity usually use them that ive seen. i also ride in WV, if your in pretty technical stuff the 2 into 1 should be pretty good for that, matter of opinion to a point i personally dont care for them but that doesnt mean they suck, 28 pwks are another popular combo that are awesome for different types of riding including trails.
  17. Even a completely dead or close to it battery can be revived with distilled water and epsom salt then trickle charged. Batteries can only go bad a few ways usually damaged plates, sulfation and low water.
  18. Yea really...so you are arguing how so many people who race, all these builders, people who have broken records and so forth who break in their stuff hard which has been proven and that is still not enough for you. You think being a baby to one of these engines is the proper break in, so you break it in all soft and gentle then after a break in you finally give it hell? You sure as hell dont baby it any other time so why during a break in? Wouldnt it make more sense to break it in hard which would be the same conditions the engine would normally run anyways throughout its life? If its going to be driven hard, break it in hard, its that fucking simple. These arent commuter cars. http://www.mototuneusa.com/break_in_secrets.htm A good read, i read this years ago.
  19. Research it, tell me how many people on here including site sponsors do "gentle" break ins then get back to me.
  20. I was just being a sarcastic smart ass you damn fools...
  21. Break in gentle is bs. Most places who have high performance engines and racing applications, pretty much anything other then the casual application will break in hard, heat cycles then ride as normal. Too many guys with fast banshees have been doing just that for years and years, well known builders and so on.
