Sweet yea my dads gonna just do an oem crank and ima probably tell him to go with vitos superstock pistons when he does the boring and then it will probably stay stockish of a while.

Thats awesome yea i think the trade worked out well for both of us, guy i bought it from had it blow up on him and didn't wanna put money into and everything and recently had a car accident to add to it. The warrior was perfect because the engine will last forever its just everything else thats rough, and he also kinda wanted it to where his daughter could ride it so it worked out well i think. those damn things run 4ever. i bought it in 2004-2005 for 500 bucks was running shitty as hell and it blew up not long after and that was original piston, bore, crank and it was a 91, crazy.

Ah damn man that sucks...ill be damned if i could ever let myself get in that situation if so it would turn into a bloody mess, fucking annoying to hear stuff like that, thankfully the area im at isnt too bad and all the bikes and other crap are in a barn in the middle of nowhere, but ive still heard about break ins near my area and its a god damn country area...fucking people.

Yea it is, crazy its even got the original bars, levers, handgrips,seat cover and whatnot...we checked out the jugs Damn things are factory bore...and my dad has everything to bore cylinders and has done it to all kinds of shit he honed both of them real quick to see how they would clean up and surprisingly came out good, he'll prolly just have to go .020 over. Good stuff a damn 2001 with stock bore and crank and everything and it blew up just a few months ago.

No not really alot of it is in good shape, i wouldnt be surprised if its the oem crank and stuff.

So i finally let go of the warrior i had for like 7-8 years and traded it for that 2001 blown up banshee, its for my father. I wanted 800 for my warrior and he was wanting a cheap banshee he could use as a project and fix up so i did the trade straight up and my dads gonna just pay me 800 so works out for both of us. Its like 100% stock only aftermarket crap i saw was a left front ITP rim lol which has more then factory offset, a boost bottle, a K&N with outerwear and an aftermarket brake rotor all else looks bone ass stock. A rod went byebye and thats how it blew up so he'll be tearing it down and going from there it looks like it has a little bit of water damage but shouldnt be too much of a problem its all getting cleaned up and rebuild anyways ...pretty excited im 23 years old and this is by far the most father and son type shit ive ever had Its actually in really good shape, specially nice it being mostly original, just a shame it sat outside or it would look real nice. Whenever hes ready ill be trying to buy some stuff off here for him to get it going again, thanks guys,

Interesting stuff...i never really knew about the SS pistons but sounds like an awesome choice on certain applications.

It depends, some times you can get away without jetting after reeds. You will need to just see how it runs afterwards and also look at the plugs make sure it doesnt need to be jetted differently afterwards, it varies from different applications.

So lets say after you install these pistons and then you get you're bike ported later would that kind of clash with eachother or anything having these pistons? or would they work fine?

My vote is wiseco prolites and cometic gaskets.

Yea +1 on the dickies i have them as well...awesome pants and they are thick too, its not worth jeopardizing being able to run some awesome pipes just because they can burn you're legs...think about it.There are ways to prevent your legs from buring much easier then try to find a pipe that wont burn you as easily.

If possible it always helps sell if you can get some pics uploaded to the site using photobucket or something, also posting where you're located helps people out a little, good luck looks like a good deal.

One thing ive always done is if you're bike is jetted to run with no lid in the summer time then when winter comes around put your lid back on, i usually have 2 lids one untouched lid and one lid with a few holes in it. That way it will kinda even out your jetting and you dont have to rejet, depending where you ride its better like that anyways to protect from water with all the snow and slush, just an idea.

Yea I think im gonna go with it...I used to like the warrior but anymore I just wanna get rid of it haha.it does look clean but its too bad its bone stock...I see a boost bottle in one of those boxes so that means it must have been really fast.

Been trying to get rid of my warrior for a lil while now, had it up on CL for $800 or trade for banshee parts etc, had a guy call me wanting to trade an 01 banshee for my warrior. He said he thought it was just a headgasket at first and tore it down and realized it was the low end that took a crap i guess a seal pooped on it. It looks all stock which is kinda good and bad depends how you look at it. Its actually in really good shape, looks clean and whatnot. It would actually be my dads if i got it then he would pay me the $800 i wanted for the warrior and hopefully get it running again by buying some parts off BHQ ofcourse. Me getting a banshee literally made my dad want one so thats how that started, give him something to tinker with he used to be a 2 stroke fanatic in the day but im kinda leaning towards yes with the trade just because its in decent shape and would be a fun project, most likely wouldnt take too much money to get it going with the help of the classifieds here. Im going to find out more tomorrow when he calls but im just ready to let the warrior go, it has its age and whatnot but it runs awesome engine runs perfect has had alot of work done to it within past few years .040 high comp piston, hotcam, vesrah valves, modquad k&n open airbox, RMstator, jetted,HMF pipe, EBC clutch crank completely rebuild not long ago etc etc...but other then that its in shitty shape lol needs suspension bushings, chain .sprockets other bullshit here and there id rather let it go im not putting any more money into it. It looking like shit and needing little nick nack shit is why its only 800 bucks. But i figured i would get some opinions from everybody on here as i usually get good help, thanks. And the warrior

Maybe its because you installed you're boost bottle backwards.Those plastics are fucking awesome btw...

Damn i need a stock crossover for mine too now so i can get rid of my boost bottle....i wanna join the fun.
