  1. 5 Coils damn...im thinking about doing this, i just recently got new oem springs in my stock carbs and there hard to pull i might cut them.
  2. Yea i also noticed that, thats a good sign if he carries them.

So far so good, cleaned up the plastics real good, got an ITP rim to match the other side, umm took a few things apart found out it had an OEM clutch in it still had the damn o rings in it i couldnt believe it. My dad also ran a hone through the cylinders real quick and they cleaned up easily which was amazing so we will only have to go maybe .020 over, my dad can hone and bore so thats a plus he has all the hones, hone oil, bore gauges and everything to do it, and he will match the bore to whatever pistons he gets.
  4. Blah...guess ill just get rid of them when i port my jugs or get vitos SS pistons, i was thinking you could make them work good on a trail bike.

I ride GNCC, XC type trails, some fast long trails,few fields and i have TR-6s and i like the pipes but im trying to decide whether or not i need to look into getting rid of them for something else like T-5s or Pro Circuits due to the fact that sooner or later im gonna be running 20 or 21 cc domes, VF3 ( or VF4 lol) reeds and possibly either ported jugs or Vitos SS pistons, 28 or 30 mm carbs eventually, i cant really find any info on people running mods like that with tr-6s. I know their built for a close to stock bike but what about for an XC type bike? and can they work well for that style of riding or would i be better off with just t-5s, ive heard a few people say they can be awesome for a trail shee with the right setup and have good low and mid type trail power but i cant find any info to support this. Alot say after porting and stuff they hold you back a lot and would be better with t-5s for any style of riding. Im just trying to get this info straight in my head so i know what to do and maybe go about selling them and getting another set of pipes here real soon.

  7. I dont think it looks bad, if you cut along the lines on it you can make it look factory.
  8. I always liked just cutting the stock one out with something and you can easily get to the sprocket.

Definitely trash the tors, get either pro-circuits, t-5, tr-6 or at least FMF fattys anything over stock honestly, +4 timing, decent clamp on filter get your rear shock rebuilt if it needs it then get some used works shocks off of here and maybe some +2 a arms while your at it. Decent tires, kenda klaw/kutters, CST ambush, razr 2s, holeshot hds or something. Pipes, suspension, tires are gonna be your main things id say.
  12. Check spark, ohms the stator, sometimes a weak spark causes the bike to not start by kick start but it will when skid started because it spins the engine over faster creating a stronger spark, just something to look into.
  13. Im really looking at either Holeshot HDs, CST ambush or the kenda kutters which seem really bad ass actually as my next rear tires, trying to decide.

  15. Yea im curious too, the CST ambush tires look like they would be badass, a buddy has them on a stock 450r and they been holding up pretty good.
  16. Usually when PS3s take a shit its the blueray drive that gos bad which is fairly easy to replace and not expensive, does it show a yellow light when it turns on? that could be the yellow light of death, kinda like xboxs red light, just something to look into.

  19. Theres a certain way your supposed to tighten those axle nuts if you have two of them.
  20. Sprocket hub or axle splines maybe something inside the clutch warped.
  21. I do love a yamaha, but i definitely like hondas alot also.
