  1. The billet shafts do crap out after a while, grooves get worn into the shaft and will eventually be bad enough to leak coolant.I wish mull had there shafts in stock again. I thought what sprinklerman was saying was that 3hp difference was on a stock stroke and pods vs air box instead it was a cfm vs stock air box.   14. I see what your saying I was thinking you were comparing air box vs pods on the stock stroke. One of the big reason I made the switch was I hated the stock box fitment. It was a pain in the ass to to remove and install. That and I liked being able to run 2 small pods in the box. I might try to somehow mod the stock box and do a comparison.   15. No the airbox has a drain in it. I doubt many people ride in shit nastier then i do on here. I will take a 1-3 hp loss for added engine protection and keeping filters cleaner any day if thats the case anyways. i believe it might be dumb on bigger bikes but stock strokes, idno. and john quit getting those panties in a bunch so fast. Never seen somebody get so defensive on their info...thought the vf4 discussion was bad enough.

  19. On the bigger engine bikes I guess I could see that but for a trail bike I doubt it'll be a loss with like a cfm box. I felt a difference first hand when making the switch but I did have to re tune the carbs to get it to run best with it though ofcourse, it seemed to help with my bottom end a lot and transition from low to mid. With where I ride I will never run open pods and if I do it will be with outwears and a splash guard under it at the least.
  20. Definitely not better then an aluminum air box...Lmao your saying the shitty ass plastic is better? I've had them modded out with pro flow and whatnot and they blow in every way. Not every1 dunes and drags there banshee only. Alot of us can't run open pods. My aluminum holds pods and acts as a good splash shield which is why I wanted mainly and its easy as hell to remove compared to stock.

  22. Yea i actually was just looking at that, no price listing, these carbs were all pooped up, also the white spring collar on mine is at the top of spring where your cap is, in the diagram its suppose to be on the bottom inside slide? not sure whats that about.
