  1. I agree just buy a new frame and swap everything over, 3 or 500 bucks may sound like alot but that plus the 900 you spent is still cheap and you can sleep and ride in peace with out wondering if some pig is gonna close line you and take your quad, then if the guy wants that other frame back just give it to him or throw it in the lake..
  2. What the hell is the point of all this..? It seems like everything you do is "against the grain"
  3. My god this thing is hideous, just makes me sick
  4. What is the point of all this?? why would you reinvent the wheel? And yamaha mfg. the banshee for 19 years and didnt change it, You know why? cause it worked and sold well, And your just F__king it up..
  5. I have a 2002 shee and want to buy another frame to do another build up, what frame should i look for? And what frames are gonna coincide with the year model i have so all the parts will be interchangeable? Anyone got any leads on frames available?
  6. First of all a Banshee is a 2 stroke 6 speed very light twin cylinder 350 quad with instant on power at the flip of a switch. You cant go wrong with the banshee, and you arent ever gonna outgrow it, It might be alittle fast for your first true quad but it definatly in my opinion will roast the 300ex, or it should anyway, Mine is a six speed twin 350 and it rocks out, this is my third shee and i wouldnt have bought anything else, And i could have and can afford 2 of anything on the market brand new and i choose to buy a used banshee and mod it out, My uncle has a kawa 700 and a honda "dorkman" 700 and i smoke his ass all the time, I am 5'4" and weigh 135 so it kicks ass with me on it. Trust us on this you wont go wrong with the shee.
  7. New here so bare with me who is this that has all the banshee stuff i need??????
  8. I was actually told by the guy at the yamaha shop by me that yamaha was not going to make banshee parts after they ran out of what they had in stock that were already made which is what led to this post. Yamaha of Texas 817-285-9999 Thats what made me start thinking bout this whole deal.... When i get in to somthing i invest lots and lots of time and money so it was a genuine concern.
  9. Ever since the banshee was dropped in 06 due to government regulations i assume, What is going to be the new "banshee" of 2008 and beyond? I mean should i start buying up banshee's as they come available? Is Yamaha going to continue to produce frames, motors and parts etc... Or am i chasing a dying dream with the banshee? Is there another quad that packs so much in so little, that is so easy to work on that's going to take it's place? I have always been a banshee fan and hate to see it go. But what's next should i start looking at Raptor 660's and move my passion on to something that's going to be more readily available? What is the new hottest thing going? I have never looked passed the banshee so I don't know what i should focus on or what's the newest machine on the market to have and upgrade.. ? I hate to focus and spend a lot on something that's only going to get harder to obtain and operate.. I know there will always be aftermarket parts but is the availability of complete machines to upgrade going to make it un-reasonable to actually pursue since it has been discontinued? I guess one of my questions is what are all the die hard banshee people going to since the banshee has got it's pink slip..? And i also wonder if the banshee being discontinued will drive up the price of pre-owned units..? And why would Yamaha discontinue such a unit that has always produced numbers and sold well and was a flagship of the quad line..? I guess i just dont get it..??????? It doesnt make since to me.. I have always been in love with the banshee and really hate to see it go but what is the future of this legacy of Quads?????? I dont plan on giving up on the banshee and will always own one but really dont know what direction to go, look to the new line of Quads or stock up on shee parts and frames.
