About Me

I grew up in Lawrenceburg TN. My family moved here back in the 70's from Texas. My grandfather Clay Lindsey started a business called CC Specialty where I now work. My grandfather was a wonderful, loving, and hillarious man. He would always go out of his way to make us laugh from dressing up in a bee keeper suit to blow up a yellow jacket's nest with left over fireworks to driving us around on the fourwheelers at night in the country community we lived in to pulling us around on old car hoods with a tractor when it snowed. He was always fascinated with engines and making things go faster. All of his children were raised racing motorcycles. Yes even the girls! even though it cost them a few boyfriends when they passed them on the track. Most of my friends grew up riding horses or tractors for fun but we grew up riding motorcycles, four wheelers, and dune buggies. If it doesn't have a throttle and brake I'm probably not going to jump on it to ride. My grandfather was a pioneer in porting motors. He went from porting with popcicle sticks with sandpaper glued to them to locaitng electric motors with full torque at variable speeds with handpiece attachments and carbide cutters to locating products to complete your porting jobs from sandpaper rolls to polishing compounds. They went from a small office selling products out of their home based office in Texas to relocating to Tennessee and now selling to customers all over the world. My grandfather passed away from cancer January 7th 1999. Even in his last days with the family he loved so much he was still making jokes and acting as if he was made of steel. My grandfather will always be my hero no matter how many days will pass without him here. Christine, his wife, is still keeping the business going along with other family members.
