  1. yes I also raised the secondary transfers as best I could.. The roofs angle in a way that u can follow the roof contour without a 90
  2. Hey I raised my exhaust roof about 1.5 mm and should be around 188deg. I also raised my boost port about the sameand found out it was not the best idea. What can I do short of raising my transfers to negate any ill effects that this may cause... Thanks

Well I've been doing a lil port work on my stockers lately and I raised the exhaust about 1.5mm (should be around 188 deg.), and got a bright idea to raise my boost port about the same, which I found out may not have been the best idea..Is there anything I can do short of raising the transfersto negate any ill effects this may cause? Thanks

Hmm you say you raise the transfers to smooth the powerband after raising your exhaust...I was looking at the layout and isn't the boost port at the same duration as the transfers...I can get in there and raise the boost port without any special tools.. So it should have some effect on blowdown and what not if I raised it a bit right...

  7. well, I will have pt hi revs and 34 mm carbs, so I am just trying to get her to rev to the moon for full blast beach rides and be abli to spank on some 4 pokes if need be Would like to refrain from destroying my midrange though
  8. So would 190 on the exhaust be pushing it without touching the transfers?
  9. OEM base gaskets... I just had a thought. If 180 deg. = 54mm, then 90=27, 45=13.5, 22.5=6.75,11.25=3.3725, 5.625=1.6375 So....raising 1.5mm should be roughly 5.5 degrees..? I may be totally wrong tho. I'm sure at the top and bottom of the stroke there may be less lateral movement as compared to rotation, but does that mean in the middle of the stroke there is more... Can I go any higher w/o totally screwing up my powerband?

  11. Will not fit stock carbs. They are 2 piece rubber and aluminum..with a carbon fiber looking coating
  12. I was curious as to how degrees of transfer / exhaust port timing related to mm of material removed from the port roof.. I was told to take about 1.5 mm of material off the roof of my exhaust to add some top end; and I wanted to know if anyone knew about what that would put my timing at with a stock crank. Also how much more agressive could I go for a non drag port and how much can I go before I need to move the transfers. Thanks, Marcus

  15. I have pics in my other recent thread "carbs, pipes, paddles".They are 2 piece w/ no crossover. Pods do not come with outerwears.
  16. $275 shipped gives you pre-jetted 34mm PJs, billet intakes, and K&N PODS. Will even throw in throttle cable. Everything is in excellent condition. Will consider stock carbs w/ TORS removed and throttle cable, airbox as a partial trade.
