  1. where can i find the tool to adjust the rear shocks spring? any ideas?
  2. well said.... i couldnt agree more. and even i never said i believed the chart.... i hell i never even said a boost bottle increased hp, i just believe it helps sync carbs thats about it... that my opinion
  3. lol becuase you went to college statistics class dosent mean you have any clue about what your talking about. im pretty sure your professor dosnt have a clue about 2 stroke engine desgin and devlopment, and to say the results are inconclusive because of the drastic variation is ignorant. the boost bottle is ment to increase performance so a chart with an increase would only make sence, but im not saying that the dyno results are accurate because i wasnt personaly there. i say the topic isnt dead untill we have a dyno test that we forsure know is accurate and legit. so as soon as some one can rechart it, i say the boost bottle is a plausable performance upgrade.
  4. i love my pro design cool heads, they came with my bike and look great as well as perform awesome. in my opinion, all cool heads are the same and a must have for any serious rider.
  5. im his roommate, we live in buffalo area, right by where the plane stuck down and landed in some ones house. so were close to lake erie if that gives you any idea

    The moto mama

i wonder how long i could pull a wheelie on that beast
  7. first of let me say this before i comment on the boost bottle. stfu with your stupid fucking search feature! every time some one post a topic that theres some smart ass who comments by saying use the search feature. seriously? the question was regarding boost bottles not banshee forums literacy. if he wanted a smart ass answer he would of made the topic tittle "Does the search feature really answer all of my questions". now back on topic, the boost bottle acts like a crossover intake, and many (not all) banshee riders here have in some way linked both carbs together via boost bottle, billet cross over intake or even a simple crossover tube. the advantage to this is when your engine starts sucking gas into the cylinders, sometimes the dual carb setup isn't always perfectly synchronized. so when the fuel from one carb is on its compression stroke the opposing side is starting to fill itself back up with fuel. with having the carbs linked together it helps because both carbs can be focused on one cylinder. its what i like to call the buddy system. now i dont see how a boost bottle can be called junk when crossovers are exactly the same theory and no one talks trash about them. the only complain i can see being legit is that some older boost bottle designs created unnesseary stress on the intake boots and caused them to crack, but since then i have seen new and improved boost bottle setups. take what you want out of all this. i hope this made sence and let me wrap this up by saying this. i dont see the boost bottle or any other form of this creating huge hp on the dyno, but i do see how this could over all give you a quicker snappier throttle response.
  8. gotcha. so is it worth the hassle do you think? honestly i think fatboy silencers are ugly.
  9. maybe if hes lucky ill give him my black tank and radiator plastic.
  10. what im looking to solve is, do all banshee exhaust systems share similar geometry? im not asking if every pipe uses the same design, but lets say you own a set of fmf turbine core silencers. would these work on paul turner high rev headers? or are all exhaust manufactures use different exhaust header and silencer placement?
  11. dude i want a set so bad! i sold my toomey t6 for a set but then elka had a killer deal on suspension that i couldnt pass up. so now i got a brand new set of elkas for 420!!!!! but no pipes to ride them with.
  12. josh your an idiot, and im only saying this because i live with you. lol i told him the only problem that i could see from coming from this is fowling up his plugs and maybe just clogging his jets. i recommended using some carb cleaner and changing the plugs. ill be returning home on wed and ill make sure youll get the right mixture. heres a picture of his new shee, what a steal! only 2200! i cant wait to see it
  13. i went to the local lows. they had a clear (i think its fiber glass) reinforced tubing that i used for my bike. i have pictures on my home pc but im on vacation so i cannot post a picture. i payed 5 bucks for enough for my bike and some. i live in buffalo ny and the hottest days we get are high 80's if were lucky. to sum it up, this tubing works fine for my setup and location but idk what would happen if you were to take you banshee to southern cali and ripped on the dunes all day. id say you get what you pay for but so far i have nothing to complain. im simply saying, is a clear radiator hose that you bought from the hardware store worth a day of not riding? ill let you decide but untill mine brakes id say go for it, but keep your stock ones handy.
  14. i mostlikely am going to get highs, but is there a noticeable difference between the two? whats better?
  15. ive been wanting a set of these pipes for quite some time. but i wanna know, are they any good? how do they stand up to a set of toomey or fmf? do they perform well when you increase your engines cc? and what kind of porting would you wanna run with them? i have alot of questions so once i start hearing some answers ill get more indepth about what i need to know this for.
  16. i want one of these setups, but i need a honest opinion. are they worth losing a carb over? it make sence to me why one would be better because then everything would be consintrated, but then again what about strength in numbers? i wanna hear some truth about these, not what people herd or read. im sick of all the people who comment on these setups without ever owning or using one themselves.
  17. well id say dont buy new plastic unless you have too. your best bet is to steer clear of the 3 piece fender design and buy a set of full bores or lakers witch are one piece. it looks alot cleaner and they dont fall apart when your riding.
  18. HA! got em! i just bought a set of elka roll design shocks for 420!!! shipped!!!
  19. i got the boots and carbs. thats it i wanna get rid of them let me know
  20. this is a sick setup, but i feel as if i made a mistake because these carbs are way to much for my engine. i want more bottom end, and on top of that syncing carbs are a pain in the ass. im done going for top speed, i want low end quick responsive performance.
  21. i have two 39mm Munki Tm Carbs on a Cross Over Billet Intake with two 12inc drag filters. im looking to trade for a 2 into 1 setup with a 35mm or bigger carb setup.
  22. im looking for a set of chrome paul turner pipes, mid or high rev. thanks
