  1. o no, i just bought one....from direct drive. i hope this dosnt happen, im only getting this because i do plan on reaching the 90hp area sometime next season but for this season i need to build my quad up to be ready for the punishment.
  2. i got mine in red a few days after my chain wipped my case and cracked it. the new engine will be in sometime next week then ill know how good they are.
  3. you must of made a reading error, the lock up clutch is from direct drive, the flywheel is from ebay. i herd +7 kills your topend and i will be running a programmable igniton, so should i be able to retard and advance as i please? i dont wanna set my bike up for one thing, i wanna be versitile.
  4. this is great to hear, my shee should be up and kicking in like 2 weeks, ive had a few wrong parts sent to me. i also have a 2 into one carb kit, but im going to be running the 35 at first and will step it up later. for my pipes i have the mids and will be running a +4 with a dynatech igniton on top of using my sick new flywheel and lockup clutch from the guys over at direct drive. also i have v2s for reeds and a 200w rm stator. cant wait to feel the power at the bottom!!!

  6. how the fuck do you steal something like that? youd either need a fork lift or shit load of man power to pick it up and move to a location where a flat bed truck is waiting... i dont think starting it and driving it away is much option
  7. i myself wanna know, im going back and redoing my shees setup now that ive gained knowledge on what kind of riding i like. i dropped my stock carbs after 3 months for 39mm and had the same engine configuration as you. 39's wernt for me and i liked the stockers better, but now im going in the trinty intake direction.

  10. my mistake alittle extra never hurt, a quart is 32 o.z. The 1 in the 32:1 would only be 20 oz of oil, so adding the full quart makes it 12 oz rich.... i guess next time ill take that into consideration
  11. sounds like a fuel issue somewhere between your carb and cylinder. im not a banshee dr. but heres what id say. 1. bad jetting 2. one carb is either clogged or unsynced 3. loss of compression on one side i know these are hard diagnosis unless your a mechanic or banshee freak, but id say start by checking the syncing of your carbs, and try cleaning them also. fyi banshees use 32:1 that means you can use a 5 gallon tank of gas to one quart of oil, screw that up and bring on the bogging.

  14. so my old engine is sold, and my new engine is on the way. the discription reads, "engine was rebuilt a few years ago, it was a stock rebuild with the exception of Wiseco pistons " im about to order myself a new set a coolheads made by fireball racing, but my question is they are only offering 18 and 20 cc domes. im only about 500 feet above sea level, and think i should be running 19cc domes, but im looking for some input. i purchased a billet impeller, and will have a 200watt stator set at +4 and for fuel i go to my delta sonic (for any of you western ny'ers who know what im talking about) and get 100 octane race fuel. so what do u think, are 18cc domes to small?

  17. great idea!!! this way i can exploit my artist friends by educating them about porting. i have quite a few friends who i can say are extremly talented with dremel tools.
  18. i own a set. i had t6 pipes before them and one day decided to sell them so i could knock off a few dollars on a new set of high revs. but i got lucky and found a set of ptr mids for 275 shipped with fatboy silencers. all they needed was alittle cleaning but now look at them. great pipes! heres a little teaser for you

  21. all good, i never paid him. to be honest i didnt no i won it like i said.. i got outbidded like 5 times in a row and when i returned to my computer 4 hours later i had won. i guess the guy who really owns the engine raised the bid so no one could win and the scammer cancled his bids making me the winner........ i talked to the real owner and he said dont pay the man! and he is the real owner of the engine and is located in az.... watch out for this bs!!!!!!
