  1. i wouldnt say dynoport and motofast failed, id say they are less favorable. i had a dynoport on a stock shee before, it ripped. maybe the dyno number said otherwise but i feel with R&D the could possably out perform some pipes of its power range(whatever range that might be). looks sick btw id like one if i had something to put it on.
  2. pm me i got a yellow rear
  3. Hum, ya I was wondering why I received 4 230 main jets. That's just seems kinda weird to me. I remember when I bought my chariot bowls they had a brass nipple that would either be put in the bottom of the bowl or replaced with a plastic washer and screw to block it off. My logic was the pv would push air through the line pushing more fuel from the bowl and into the engine. Ill take your word for it though, but I'm gunna keep the pvs, my cub hit so violently I sometimes lost my grip on launches. Thanks bud
  4. spindles hubs calipers all sold. steering stem, crank, brake hub are still forsale
  5. so who has them? Me and boston both are wondering what we should do about the ports on the back of the pv. If u don't know what I'm talking about its like a threded hole that seems to be an auxalillary port for a powerjet setup or sumthing in that ball park. Should I block them off or link them up to my billit bowls?
  6. brand new, never used. 20 shipped
  7. Add me I'm always on, doofmeatwadd is my tag. I'm only a level 50 but I'm getting there
  8. why waste money on something your not going to keep in the long run. save your money ride you quad and then youll be happy you didnt spend your money poorly. stock a arms blow!
  9. Powdercoat is the best way to go, but painting stock a arms is kind of a joke. With so many options and such a huge aftermarket you could easily find a set of decent powdercoated a arms. Take into consideration that stock a arms ball joints arnt replacable.
  10. well u wanna put a yfz caliper on a shee huh? well i was in the works of doing so untill i relized how much p.i.t.a. it would be to convert over. well i mean its not a huge ordeal but i stayed on the beaten path when upgrading my rear caliper and used a 250r caliper insted. why? because it just make sence. i wrote a tutorial on how to do so http://bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=128874&st=0&p=1112690&fromsearch=1entry1112690 the issues i seen with using a yfz caliper was that i would need a special made brake stay ontop of a custom rotor to couple on my banshee hub. to make life easier just use a 250r brake stay, all u gotta do is remove alittle material from the brake stay vs desiging and custom cutting one. pm if u got some more questions i could help u out if u wanna setup like mine/
  11. intakes sold, sorry there was alot of hits on them someone didnt care to wait for the picture.
  12. have the same issue using paul turners and 38mm pwk carbs. at first i was using a flex tubing from napa, i used a 2.5inch nylon pre heater hose with steel reinforcement. then i decided that its a p.i.t.a. called duncan racing and they said "use a air box". so, what are u waiting for? put it back on, and if your stupid like me and grinded the tabs off he said "use the zip ties they use in law enforcement, they are nere bullet proof". good luck
  13. says i cant send you a private message, contact me somehow and ill make something happen. i decided to seperate hub from rotor so pc brake hub $20 shipped. also i found a set of never used brand new pwk airstriker float bowls and a set of billet intakes for stock carbs i want $40. pm me for any questions i need this stuff out of my basement asap
  14. I just replayed on a different topic about g force axles. I have lone star and my friend has a g force. The only reason I didn't buy a g force is because they were on back order when I needed one. After installing both and riding both there is no noticable difference as u can expect, its an axle but we've both yet to brake bend or snap or axles. The only bone I have to pick with g force is there funky lock nut and the c ring stopper on the brake hub side. I don't no why they just didn't stick with yamahas orginal setup like most aftermarket axles do. My vote goes to lonestar
  15. sounds like you got luck, at one time I was set on getting a g force axle untill I found a brand new lsr axle being auction of for diirt cheap. Besides the price, during my build thhan were out of g force axles and my friend ended up buying one once they returned. honestly the g force axles didn't impress me, I dislike the locknut ontop of the c ring clips they manufacture there axles with. An axle is an axle, they all do the same thing its just my preference.
  16. I'm not 100% on the crank, it was my friends who let it at my house after I helped build his engine. Its an 01, threds are all good, if anything it might need bearing I'm willing to let it go cheap because its taking up shelf space.
  17. a few companies like lonestar and laeger produced a hybrid atv chassis during the 2 stroke mx atv days. banshee are only prized because of there twin power plant and unussaly box look. otherwise honda it held down the chassis department. take notice to the rake or diagonal placement of the a arms in relation to the chassis. this rake is also called caster. also the bottom frame rails are mad skinny, allowing more travel and less bump steer. theres alot of difference between the trx and the banshee the "250r geometry" means the bike was built around hondas design but uses yamaha powerplant and plastics
  18. so is this taken care of? any damage?
  19. this sounds redundant but do u have a woodruff key? its just though. i can keep going on an on but just keep trouble shooting. Spark in both sides? compression per cylinder? Bad gas? Timing? bad plugs? pet cock on, or clogged? floats stuck? Bad ground? key turned on kill switch? try using some starting fluid, if it fire that means its gas and not electrical and go from there. alot of them you probably have already tried but just some food for though. gl
