  1. the oem coil solved nothing. do you think my compression is too high? im going to put my old jets back in and see what happens and my next step is pulling the motor. can any one help?
  2. I have the 485 pv cheetah and can't get the sob to fire right. I'm starting to wonder if the pv has something to do with my issue. Idk they look cool and if mine did wat they say, sound cool too.

  5. a few things to add stock carbs $50 38mm pwk air striker bowls never used $20 Some odd coolhead i didnt use and if i remember right i had issues fitting the orings. its a prodesign knock off $50 stock never used shift star $10 stock reeds $30 crank gear $15 if i missed anything please pm me

  7. i disagree loco, long travel rocks. yes there expensive and not many people manufacture them. the banshees chassis really limits the suspension travel and the handeling that modern day atvs offers. janssen and roll design are the 2 companies i know about that offer long travel setup and there both big $$.

  10. my RM 200w stator just ate shit, and so did the one for my zilla. i got two pieces of scrap copper maybe ill be able to buy some root beer if i return it to the scrap yard. i thought rm was a safe alternative to ricky stator because they were canadian, but that dosnt mean they were manufactured there.
  11. so ive havent solved the problem but i have been doing my hw. i called trinity and only suggested two things, one being a bad seal on the crank, and two the pos rm stator. well the pos rm stator check out, it had only 9.3ohms on it vs the 13-20 range it should be in. i purchased a stator from nyuk so as soon as i get that ill be following up with what i hope is good news. the only thing good i have to report is that i purchased my news elkas, skid plate and aluminum airbox so once i get the engine working its all play from there.

  13. i just snatch up a set of kfx450 long travel shocks on ebay for 545. if u ask me the market is kinda wacky when it comes to aftermarket parts. good luck on you sale, i would of bought them if you were willing to lose more than half of wat you paid for. heres a bump for goodluck
  14. My rule is, if its not to par then it needs to be replace. Its stupid to run a damaged part in anything because you can't escape the inevatable. I havent seen any damage done by using a basket like that but I've never let it get to that point. Id hate to see what happens when a rivet fails and turns you clutch into mercury. You could just do was was already stated, repair or replace don't reuse.

  16. need a stock stator coil. i got a brand new shorter length stainless steel brake line never use, stud extendeds never used, stock rear yfz hubs otherwise pm witha price, im not trying to spend a fortune.

I value your opinions even though sometimes I dont fully agree with them but I've relized you flat out hate mono pipes and your reason is in the numbers.   18. my bike has changed a bit from the link in the sig. 38mm pwk airstrikers, 73mm bore 4mill stroke,pv cheetah cylinders,200watt stator. I've tryed everything but a different stator. I'm gunna use my buddies oem one and see what happens.

  20. plugs come out oily, and yes there compatable. I'm gunna see if my buddies stock cdi works on mine. Maybe trinity fucked up my cdi programming
  21. so after a full day of bullshit I still can't get my cheetah to fire right. I've tryed everyting. Everything. So here's where I'm at 180psi per side, 230 mains, br8es spark plugs full dyna cdi with coil Now the problem, my left side is fireing perfectly, while the right makes smoke and barely any exhaust. I noticed the left side spitting gas out the back of the carb. I've switched carbs, switched reeds, changed plugs, tryed stock coil, advancing timing, retarding timing, adjusting carbs, adjusting pickup, clean pvs and cant figgure it out. I'm running c12 at 32:1 klotz oil. This is my first tank of gas, I've yet to even ride the bike, its just been started in my driveway as I broke in the engine. It hasn't even burned the 2.5g I put in yet. I'm frustrated and wanna give up, but I'm hoping someone can help me. This engine costed me big $. Id hate to spend more. So what do u guys got?
