  1. From wat I understand, 535ccs work. Idk what the difference is.
  2. So jaymes contacted me today while I was at work, I received a very apologetict message on my voicemail and it pretty much covered everything without me needing to call back. Only question I'm still pondering is why millenuim has my cylinders now and why they need to inspect it. It went from jeff to trinity to millenium, maybe third times the charm. I guess the right thing to do is ask jaymes, and maybe I will but it makes no difference in the situation I'm in. Sigh. Worst of all, I've never once have gotten a call from harry. jaymes is truely not a bad guy, he's just doing his job under company policy and after this shits sorted out I think he should be eldigable for a promotion. I hope u guys remember that I have a fracture in my cylinder, please don't just plate over it
  3. No ones screaming. I was bitching out loud. I'm a pretty reserved person, I'm not gunna make an ass out of myself by screaming at u over the phone. sorry if this post upsets you, but honestly I'm sick of waiting for the phone call
  4. My motor suffered from a few things, a kind of domino effect really. Trinty had told me the orings material had been switched (I can't remember from wat material to wat) and had no idea this had happened untill after the fact a handfull of bhqers started bitching. Problem number one. The dome shape was causing the motor to force the explsion towards the walls and causing all sorts of detionation problems. Mine had craked a transfer port. Problem 2 Problem 3 is not offical but this is what I've been told. 73mm cheetahs have such a large bore it compromises the integrity of the cylinders because they are so thin, I kinda agree but I had also been told its possable tolerances are sometimes pushed threw, and this means pistons sometimes are to tight and have no room to expand. In either case, my pistons left some pretty nice skid marks on the walls. When life hands you lemons make lemonaid? Right?
  5. compeltly off topic, but cali dosnt have shit when it comes to wings. Buffalo is the best place for hot sause
  6. In and out burger beats all of them. Let me come live with you,
  7. Trinity is taking no part in repairing my engine. I already paid jeff, and I'm not even taking a chance at having them do it for me. Quite simply, they are inspecting my cylinders to locate a already obvious problem and hopefully discount or gift me parts. Jaymes asked me what it take to make things right, I made no demands, or even ask for anything. Id like free pistons and nikisil job, will I get either? Mostlikely not. At this point id be happy with a stock 350 motor.
  8. My motor is a 485cc (73mm 4mill crank), and yes. Nothing but problems. Been atleast 2 years in the making (given the 8 months of snow here in ny)
  9. For the glamis comment. I live in buffalo ny, closest sand dunes is silver lake, a 8 hour drive with a time change. The motor was never touched by jeff, only inspected and measured. Jeff was my quality control so to say so trinity couldn't pull any fast ones. I would of love for jeff to just fix it, but I'm following harrys and tylers advice and giving them a chance to redeem themselves. So far I have a windycityjohn story, except my rants are much shorter. So there's a possablity of a discount of parts, but as it stands I have nothing. No parts, no motor no nothing. Sigh
  10. Motor went to fast before trinity became a site sponsor and agreed to "make things right". Its kinda like that pawn stars show quote " its not that I don't trust you, its just that I don't trust anyone. So I made jeff do my handy work and took mesaurements for trinity and then they asked for the cylinders.
  11. I figgered it was time to me to start bitching. I'm mad. I've sent my motor to fast racing in may for them to doctor my 485, when the "trinity blows" topic came to a end. I had jeff send exact mesurements at trinitys request with pictures and they wernt satisfied. So the cylinders were shipped, and come to find out the head wasn't in the box prolonging this annoying situation of being a messanger boy between trinity and fast. I've been personaly speeking with james, and have created a new name for myself "nick with the cheetah motor". I talked to him Monday and told me harry has been gone and will be personal be doing it tommaro and will cal me asap. Mind you, were at the end of july, Tuesday came and gone with no phonecall. I called today, spoke to james and he said something of the sort as harry didn't do it yet. So after he herd the lack of exicitment he assure me ill be alright. Idk wat alright is. Alright for me is me with a motor here now. I live in a seasonal region, I don't have the luxury of having sand dunes and 80 degree weather year round. Now I feel better
  12. Just a though. Bb are for the 535 and higher. I use sb on 485 cheetah. Idk maybe some one else will chime In. I know that's off topic, but your 35s should be fine.
  13. I fucking hate seeing outlaws. I reminds me what a waste of money my banshee is.
  14. Had the same problem at the same place. Check ur pickcoil and flywheel gap
  15. I ordered my cheetah from them. His names steven, he's a good guy, but my only concern is he's a trinity dealer. With that said, keep in mind that many cheetah owners have issues with there motors. I'm not pointing fingers, and I'm kinda keeping my mouth shut because jaymes and I have been talking and he's going to work with me to get my motor repaired. What are you trying to buy? Just remember, you get wat you pay for. Don't let free shipping fool you and if u have any questions pm me
  16. I got one response from jaymes, and I'm still waiting on the follow up/resolution. He said he's gunna make it right.... ill be waiting....
  17. just a fyi, this is pointless. they make these for bmx. if anything it causes more issues, think about it for a sec. all its doing is preventing sprocket teeth from hitting stuff witch dosnt matter because the chain does that anyways. all your doing is exposing you rear by thinking its a skid plate and when you do hit something you gunna bend you sprocket hub. just a though.
  18. its possible you have the a arms switched left from right. just a though post up a pic
  19. its hard to say, what do your cylinders look like? one piece? two piece? does it look so"stock"? are there any in gravings on the side of the jugs? just some things to look for. but the only way to know for sure it to pull the head and measure ur pistons or bore.
  20. i drew the 250r just for the record. i wanna cookie now
  21. Ya once u step away from stock, your asking for problems. Yamahas orignal design is as reliable as the sun. Big motors=big problems. I'm too stuborn to give up though I just keep dishing out $
  22. I just looked at the intake boots. They are different. Make sure u look closely at them because there is a left and a right. I just wished I would of seen that before.
  23. so i took it upon myself to personally call this guy. hes a very eccentric and loved to talk about all of his projects. honestly i dont think ill be having him build me anything seeing as how hes asking 5900 for a 250/banshee chassis. he told me hes paralyzed on the left side from a car accident and that a few of his twin cr's exist in spain. the guy has alot of equipment from what hes told me, and probably could do everything he said, but from wat i understood hes a prototype engineer. he mention something about having bought the rights to the hybrid chassis once lsr had stopped producing them and told me hes slightly modified the design. idk about u guys but if i buy a 250 frame i expect it to be 100% identical. he also mentioned hes put the 1000cc into a banshee. i asked him about the cases and crank design and this is wat he said. "it uses a crank cuppler, and the engine is two pieces, $5900 for the kit." if i had a 1000cc engine i want a one piece crank and a one piece block. this im gunna call this company out and say dont fall for there shit.
