  1. thanx man, those s2000's respond very well to turbo kits aswell.
  2. hey hey, most of the vehicles on here are massive truks so i thought ill add something differant. its a toyota sprinter with a turbo twincam 1600cc, puts outs 300hp@wheels at 25psi of boost going for 350(edit: new motor made 343hp at wheels,22psi 6400rpm then losses power, possibly weak valve springs or turbo) this new build, with a weight of 1000kg including driver and full tank it can be a handfull sometimes. redline is at 8500rpm but new engine will be 9000rpm and the car doesnt make anypower untill it hits 4000rpm. you name it its been done. the only reason i bought a banshee was becuase i was building another motor for this car and was getting rather shitty from waiting for machine shops. ^ this is one of the first motors as i cant find a pic of whats in the car now. ^ this was the first motor i built for it, it only made 215hp@wheels at 17psi with that baby turbo. im halfway building the new motor for it and im pretty excited as its been a while (4-5months) since ive driven it.
  3. nah im pretty shaw it was the tors, you can hear and feel the differance between fuel and ignition problems and the air filter is looking pretty good. and when i went to change gear as soon as i was off the throttle it cut the revs. as soon as i got home and washed it, it was fine.
  4. Thanx man, i like it too nah i didnt even think of unplugging the tors, i got a rear punture in the puddle as well so thats what retired me for the day hehe i wastn even there for 15-20 mins, lucky i went for a ride earlier in the day anyway. i just think its funny how they "yamaha" thinks that an atv that gets some water thrown at it is aloud to bugger up . all terrain vehicle (shhhh but except water)
  5. went for a ride on sunday and it was raining and i went threw some deep as puddles (a few times thinking i may need a flare soon) but i got out AND THEN it started to fuck around and i thought "oh thats what they meen about getting the tors wet" man how anoying is that no wonder you can get so many differant tors removal kits, its just the stupidest idea, well the idea is good but not sealing it to stop water leakage in, its shit! hehe. its gotta be a pretty deep puddle tho so i may leave it for now untill it does it 2 more times
  6. hey man, great dvd that road surface flat track would take some skills.
  7. reverse is the best tho come's in handy so many times. how do these go against the yammi yfz450 ?
  8. well the t5 kit is only 599 anyway so your nearly there, but for drag you wont an all out power pipe with all the power at the top end so look for a pipe with those points. and no doubt it will cost you heaps hehe its expensive to be faster.
  9. yeh im intrested too, i love banshees but they suck at crashing hehe they always brake or bend something, 4 stroke quads can handle a pounding but there not a 2-stroke.
  10. yeh theres a shop close by that wrecks bike's and atv's ill call them tommo, it just suks to put an old part on a new bike hehe even if it works thanx man.
  11. yeh thats what scared me , you cant buy that arm as a piece yamaha sell the whole hub/stubaxle with the arm hehe how not fair is that.
  12. ok sure, this is what im talking about this is what the normal other side looks like this is what the bent other side looks like and this is what it looks like when its full locked.
  13. hey all, i have a bent steering arm (the arm that has the hole for the balljoint) i have re-wheel aligned it but becuase its shorter, at full lock that wheel can turn further and the rim rubs on the lower control arm, this arm is also bolted on and tak welded in place. You cant buy the arm seperate from the complete hub/stub axle. can you buy aftermarket ones can you bend these back or do i buy a 2nd hand one and bolt it on and re-tak it. thanx
  14. hehe but yours are worked . when i bought mine, the yami shop sold 4 in one week but i havent seen another one out riding or just about. first stack sucks on new stuff it just takes all the newness out of it.
  15. my quad is standard and i was wondering if +2 degrees would be ok for stock pipes ? i use atleast 98 octane.
  16. this was the question i asked my self last month "do i get a new one or 2nd hand" i ended up buying a 08 one becuase i new the history of it, i was going to be the one that ran it in, it was only $2000au more than a 06 model that has been "riden" and its a 2 stroke everyone belts that absolute fuck out of 2strokes so i thought id be better off. id be a bit skeptical about "new tyres" and very little use. obviously a good owner will have a good quad but how do you know.
  17. an average price for fuel these days in western australia is for 98 octane (our highest octane) is $1.70au a liter and i pay around $1.63au per liter for av gas which is 100 octane but its leaded and you need a license to use it.
