  1. yeh snopczynski the one on the swingarm (swingarm bolt goes thru it). misssppelllleddd yeh all the guides are stuffed, ill tighten that chain up and get some new guides. Thanx.
  2. hey fellaz, I noticed my chain had a bit of slack and to closer inspection i saw that the round bigger middle chain guide looks to be flapping around, does this guide have a bearing in it thats broken or do they just flap and spin around ?. thanx.

  4. eeeeek ive got about $12k AU and the quad was $8500 AU new and im trying really hard not to get a-arms and shocks but i really want them.
  5. be carefull with toulene as it eats rubbers and plastics. all tho toulene has worked as a octane booster id rather buy a high octane fuel and i acutly no what octane it is.

  7. Its a 08 man, orange and black. 07 is red and black but a darkish red

  9. yeh they have been selling the 09 here for a couple of months already. they should have a SE edition that has good parts instead of diff colours and a sticker kit.
  10. the whole whah whah whah boost bottle thing is getting pretty old. floggin a dead horse like.
  11. with t5's, dyna on curve3 and vf3's im dead even with a 450 that has ignition timing,cam timing, pipe and carb mods he gets the holeshot and is a bike lenght infront the whole time except in 6th i start to pull a bit more than he does. about 10 runs on the beach with the same results, with a bit more practice and a good holeshot ive got him.
  12. make shaw they are the correct grade/strength, they will break or stretch otherwise.
  13. when the engine is cold the fuel / oil mix is harder is separate so it smokes a bit as its burning oil, once warmed up the fuel / oil separate's, the gas gets burnt and the oil hangs around to lubricate.
  14. ive riden 3 hours hardish with out having to hit reserve but it would have been realy close, it took heaps of fuel to fill it up again. mods are just t5's, vf3's, 280 mains and dyna on curve 3.

  16. i run the motul 800 at 40:1, i dont really hear of other people using motul ? i was going to mkae the change to agip but motul seems to be good so far.
  17. you have to pull all the plastics off and get in there with a brush, it takes me way too long to clean it but i couldnt leave it dirty and it gets pretty covered sometimes.

  19. i wouldnt use a dremel just in case you slip, a light file would work or just get a thick sharp scraper and take the edges off.
  20. im pretty happy with the way its going the throttle is pretty responsive, was yours bogging before powerband on 4th groove ? My dyna came today so once thats on ill do a chop and see where im at.
  21. your bike looks brand new, what year is it, it looks cleaner than my 08 hehe. im waiting on the aussi dollor to catch back up again like it was before but i think it will be a while then ill get my noss head. ive got all this avgas and im not using it.
  22. 280's with toomey needles on 4th groove, lid on with 12 holes threw box and lid and no snorkle. nothing but net.
  23. i didnt touch the jetting when i installed the vf3's and it runs perfect its on the richer side with toomey jetting but it always was.
