  1. just use vasoline on the orings when you install them and they wont fall out of place.
  2. i really dont know man, i wouldnt have thought so, im running 160+psi and all is good. other will have better experience, when shit starts to break.
  3. around 20-25 psi with 21cc domes from standard which are 22cc. yeh the smaller the cc the more the compression due to the air/fuel mix being compressed into a smaller area. i would have thought on 91 pump that 145-150psi would be a tad high, especially if your going to up the timing.
  4. 21's may be the go with 91 and that elevation, do a comp test.
  5. you could probably get away with 20's, but do a comp test to see where your at now, if it to high you may want to go 21's

  13. hey fellaz, Just wondering if these filters are the same and if i can use the uni filter oil and cleaner on the gytr filter as there both foam bastards. uni filter australia stopped making the unifilter for the banshee's so im thinking about using the gytr one.
  14. i run straight avgas aswell, with 160odd psi of comp and +4 timing @sea level. its been running great and the stuff im using is OLD as. 5 gallons left out of 44 haha.
  15. maybe stick a 15t on the front once youve had new porting done, your power should pull a 15t well. do you no how big of a shot that 700 was running ?
  16. they have Power Valves and differant gearing, and probably more love when they build it. (closer tolerance's) i dont know how differant the ports are.
  17. depends what mods you have, myne only has bolts-ons with 280 mains. and i can safly go on a 2-3hr hard ride. with that big ride i went on, i was stressing like F^&K that i would run out, but never even needed reserve.
  18. well, the banshee tank is decieving becuase its narrow at the top and widens at the bottom so you think you have used half a tank when youve prolly just used a 1/4. I thought myne suks the fuel but its not that bad. we rode 34miles (17 there and 17 back) 5th and 6th pinned and i mean pinned i was thinking "dont blow up, dont blow up" haha and it was just around half a tank maybe a bit more than that (not much more tho), that was along the beach sometimes in boggy sand. 2 hour trip. averaging 65-70mph and at another time i went trail riding inland to another dune area which was over a 50mile trip and had just over a 1/4 of a tank left. that was flat out too but more 3rd and 4th gear. and that was a 3-4 hour trip. man did i hurt after that trip. compared to the 4 pokes i ride with its crap but definetly long enuff for a decent ride.
  19. 4 strokes have a better lubrication system so there ring to bore wear is less, but they have more moving parts to fuck up and adjust. your always gonna have mates run there mouths, just run you 2stroke harder than theres and that will block there hole.

  21. my 20cc domes made the differance to beat my mates modded yfz450. Before the domes i was 2-3 bikes behind (due to holeshot) but now i dont know if im just kicking ass on launching or that lil bit of power gives me a better holeshot but im infront YEEEHH BOOIIII!. and on rolling starts the shees always in front. upping the compression makes it more punchier, a worth while mod.
  22. it can stay top mount, just change the piping and get a intercooler made so it fits perfect. I dont know if the wrx/sti stuff fits.

  24. bahaha, you cant use that as a comparison. i got my T5's and love em tho i do want some more topend so with some more mods ill get that, ive heard people run t6's on ported motors and are happy with the results maybe there in denial, i dont know. Other pipes i should of considered were PT HiRevs and DMC 916's there all in the same ball park as the T5's but i still dont know which have a better top end out of those 3. you need to know where you want your power low mid top and find what pipe suits you, like for my self i wanted mid-top pipe but i wanted to find the most topend mid-top pipe. if you know what i mean.
