  1. ah k, yeh ill give them a call and see whats up, drewski. the clear bowls are cool but they will probably go to shit over time . do the oko 30's need spacers to clear the clutch arm ?
  2. yeh i went there first, and none of the links works, and i couldnt find any helpfull info. so i tried there ebay store which didnt come up. so i kept searching till i found these. ill have to ask hjr what jets to get any way.
  3. hey guys, im just about to buy some carbs and i wanted to confirm im getting the right ones. the 30mm oko's im looking at have the model number of 3020, (they have the see though bowl, do these bowls leak or warp ?) heres the ebay listing. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/CARBURETOR-PERFORMANCE-for-Quads-Motorcycles-Buggies_W0QQitemZ120485591407QQcmdZViewItemQQptZAU_Motorcycle_Parts_Accessories?hash=item1c0d80396f#ht_1098wt_1165 and where should i get the cables for these things ?. thanx andrew.
  4. oh, thats a bit shit then. Hope all goes well.
  5. so are your winters that bad, that you cant ride at all or does it get snowed in quite a bit ?, what is it like to ride in snow ? i can pretty much ride all year round.
  6. with the effort of welding/ machining, your better off just getting a cool head. Id take advantage of the dollar and buy one from one of the site sponsors. That way you have a head that has better cooling characteristics and interchangeable domes. i havent worked out the proper C/R with the smaller domes, so i cant tell you what that is, but with 20cc domes @ 165+psi with +4 adv you would be getting very close to the 98 limits. (94oct U.S )
  7. im diggen those pipes 1700 sounds pretty good man, id atleast have a good look at it.
  8. man that thing is past awesome !!!!, that sus is unreal
  9. commodore 64 fellaz system Commodore KERNAL/Commodore BASIC 2.0 CPU MOS Technology 6510 @ 1.02 MHz (NTSC version) @ 0,985 MHz (PAL version) Memory 64 kB RAM + 20 kB ROM Graphics VIC-II (320 x 200, 16 colors, sprites, raster interrupt) Connectivity 2x CIA 6526 Joystick, Power, Cartridge, RF, A/V, IEEE-488 Floppy/Printer, Digital tape, GPIO/RS-232 Predecessor Commodore VIC-20 stick that in yo pipe.
  10. you could hear it at 0.34sec onwards aswell. could be lean or pinging or both EEK!. have you pulled the head off ?
  11. some compression gauge's only thread in a couple of turns, and if that happends you will get a lower reading. it would suck to rebuild if you didnt have too, which gauge were you using ?. no quick shee, you need a proper bore gauge because the pistons wear in differant places in the bore as its a recipicating mass, the middles of the bores get most of the wear.
  12. the stock shocks are soo shit man, if you get these works (if they're valved correctly) you will be so happy and you'll ride harder, faster and for longer.
  13. if your running it with no lid and 260 jet's, try it with the lid on and see how it goes. i dont know what the power delivery is like with the sst's, maybe compared to the stockers they may seem a bit sluggish down low. try doing a plug chop on new plugs to see how its burning. did yami tell you where they put the needles or if they changed the pilots ?
  14. 260's with open lid is lean, you'd want to run at least 280's, 260's is with the lid on. to rich, will bog down and feel sluggish and to lean will pop and run like shit.
  15. looking good, yeh black and red look great !. keep the dumbo ears we're a dieing breed haha
  16. so when are we going to lanno you did well to hold off this long for the pipes if you ever need anything man (bike wise), drop us a pm.
  17. sweet as thanx fellaz, yeh its coming into spring now so most of the wet weather has pissed off. Ill run it without the lid and bump up the jets, id love to run just the pods because it looks so much neater but i do ride in some pretty wet conditions some times, rather be safe than sorry. i take it with no lid you take that little bung out of the bottom of the airbox to let water out then ? thanx
  18. hey guys, i mainly ride with 2 450's, now i can beat (not by heaps) one of the 450's (not the other as its a 2 wheeler) and the 2 wheeler and i are gonna play a game on the yfz450. I have given the 2 wheeler a vortex ignition and im thinking about ditching the airbox or just running it with no lid and jet it up a tad just to beat the yfz450 even more (which he will really hate because he rekons he's gonna beat me next time. We arnt gonna tell the yfz450 that we have done anything and just say that his bike must be on its last legs and worn out and going slower. Now the question, is removing the lid (or whole airbox) going to give me much more of a gain (i have no snorkle with 12 vent in the box) to make the differance with a few bike lengths ?. and would running without the lid be the same as running no airbox at all ? thanx.
  19. $12.50 haha it would of cost you that just to advertise them when you post them, you should write a letter of caution saying how awesome these pipes are and to be carefull when first applying the throttle until you get used to it factory gytr experimental banshee pipes haha
  20. haha, fukn spewen. good on him to think of pix for is forum first .
