yeh, totally understandable, i only have my own experiance with these air shox, which is the first time ive used an air spring, and so far im liking them.
i could change to elkas and think "man why didnt i get these first".
with the floats you can use them on stock arms and wider ones, you just have to pump more air into them. I havent had any probs with mine and never experianced fade or anything. they also have always held pressure. The floats have a 60day trial of the valving if you dont like it you can send them back to get revalved.
the reason why i opted for the floats was because i didnt really need all the adjustment the elkas gave you and if i wanted a harder/softer ride i could just add and take air away.
one thing that sucks about the floats, is there air sleeve maintenance once a year or so. It takes all of 15-20 mins to do but you dont have to do it with elkas and that what i think about when im doing it haha.
all and all im really really happy with my floats.
your on a banshee forum and you ask what quad you should buy ?.
if i wanted to buy a bike and not touch it, id get a yfz450. if i wanted a killer bike that i was going to play with and fukn enjoy, id buy a banshee.
my banshee only smokes when its dead cold, after that no smoke at all
i too have had a great purchase from kevin, i got ported jugs with rebuild kit and pistons. The parts are great but the customer service was even better.
kevin even recieved a hoodie and on sent it to me, very helpfull.
i highly recommend kevin !!!
ive never had a problem with o-rings in any application, i just use vaso.
i hold the head by the spark plug holes in the domes and slowly and carefully lower the head onto the studs.
this will be a never ending argument, but if anything goes wrong its more and likely your own fault haha.
interested man, i wouldnt mind a nice kit for the orange n black colours.
it would be great if there was a downloadable template we could download and do what we want and then send that template to you guys.
at a powder coater ? haha
just look in the phone book or internet for a powder coater near you.
to do it your self, you need the powder (what ever colour you decide) and heat (proper baking room or a oxy torch) you heat what you want to be coated, throw some power on it and heat it like heat shrink. (of course make shaw all is clean)
little stuff is easy but bigger stuff you cant do your self (they use machines to do it), just pay some one to do a awesome job .
it would have to make a differance on speed, how much i dont know but it would.
oh sorry i ment
IT WOULD HAVE TO MAKE A DIFFERANCE ON SPEED, HOW MUCH I DONT KNOW BUT IT WOULD.
bahaha block it gnr
cut fenders look cool, but uncut is where its at ! and you have some where to rest your feet.
has anyone done a max speed test with cut and uncut ? i wonder how much is in it.
if you cut them, ill just glue them back on.
chariot is a site sponsor aswell and does a 1 piece head (uses noss domes)
noss is also a great head and is a two piece, both of these heads use o-rings which i havent had any problems with.
they both direct the water, they both have interchangeable domes and they both do the same thing.
one or the other you'll be fine.
for the 4mm, youll have to ask noss to send you some stroker domes.
thanx daj, can you get manifold's that are spaced out a bit or are spacer's the only way im going to move them out.
im going to go the CPW route and get the whole kit.
