  1. with the arrows, if your using genuine clutch plates, the plates arnt perfectly round and a part of the plate sticks out. when you put the first plate on, align that tab to an arrow then stagger the plate tabs 60 degrees apart. then when you bolt the pressure plate up, align the pressure plate arrow up with a clutch boss arrow. i dont have a exploded pic of the kick starter, but there is one around these forums somewhere
  2. well, i would have thought spark plugs would be the easiest thing to try first. check your coil, leads and sparkplug caps for correct resistance.
  3. if its going to be another video story, just sorta hide lil BHQ stickers or banners all over the place but not obvious enough to stand out like balls. If you ask you dont get shit haha you have make it happen yourself
  4. ahh ok, is your xp a 64 bit version ? if it is, then kudos on making it work.
  5. so i bought the curve maker and i have windows vista. i emailed dynatek and they got back to me 2 weeks later (i thought they forgot). here is his reply, Hello Andrew, Thank you for your interest in Dynatek ignitions. The Dyna reprogramming kits are only available to work on the 32 bit Microsoft systems. They will not work with the MS Windows NT, Windows XP Professional 64 bit system, or the Vista 64 bit system. All update info is available from our web page at http://www.dynaonline.com/skins/downloads/ and just pick your application, making sure you delete the old application of Dynatek ATV from remove/ delete programs, then download the new program from our web page, including the new "JAVA" program, which is part of it. Make sure if you are using the USB programming kit, that you download the "USB Driver" from the same section. If you are using Windows Vista, and it is definitely the 32 bit system, then make sure you disable the "User Account Control"; "i was told to turn off my security and this should> work (it didnt)" It is not referred to in the versions of Vista we have seen as "security". In the Start/ Pearl(?)menu, control panel, and then User Accounts. In there you will find the "tab" to turn on or off the "User Account Control". Make sure after you download and do the set up, you turn your "User Account Control" back on. If we can be of further assistance, please contact us again. this worked and now i can use the curve maker on vista !!!!!!.
  6. "get used 2 it" "i c u cn me" "taste it" "stuk in 3rd"
  7. cool as man, nice place. Id love to have all that land around my house i wouldnt leave home haha. thanx for sharing.
  8. thanx flyhighprerunner, i only tested them and they tested OK, the dyna coil comes with leads so im still using the orig caps. yeh it does feel like its blowing out the spark. The caps i ordered are at the store, i have to wait for the weekend so i can pick them up. $6 each woohoo
  9. thanx t_shee, yeh the stator had crossed my mind just as a possible weird prob, ill see if i can borrow some ones. cheers HOD. but its only W.O.T, if it were a needle problem wouldnt just raising and lowering the needle help in some way ? yeh, stock carbs are next on the to do list. thanx.
  10. I originally had the stock coil so i tried the dyna because the stock one was giving funny readings, the dyna didnt change anything. im running br8es anyway. thanx man.
  11. yup tried needle positions with current jetting and it didnt help, i dont know how long it lasts because i dont want to keep on it. and it looses power because it sticks on that splutter and i back off or drop down a few gears. i havent done a leakage test so i dont definetly know it hasnt got an air leak. (i doubt it does, ill see if anyone has a tester just to rule it out) thanx.
  12. ok ok. my bike has a splutter at 4500 -5500rpm, before and after that spot is awesome. ive gone from 158 mains to 150 (and all needle clip positions) and 55 pilots to 45. at the moment im on 155main and 45 pilots (1 1/2 turns out on screws) with needle in middle position. (which is the best its been but still this splutter) the bike is. T5's, OKO 30's with pods (155, 45 1 1/2 turns out and n80f needles. 20cc domes (141psi on both) vf3's white knuckle intake stock stroke 64.75 wiseco's HJR dune/play port match ported cases-barrels 60/40 pump/avgas dynafs dyna coil so i tested everything i have, pickup gap leads with plug caps on gapped plugs to .6mm coil and stator resistance carb sync compression i tried the stock cdi and coil. check the vf3's (i couldnt see anything wrong) everything tested OK doesnt matter what i do it has this splutter and i have never ridden through it (i dont like holding it at this point) and the problem is only at high gear low speed, like if i shift into 6th or 5th going slow and holding the throttle pinned and letting it rev through the rev range, then it gets to this point and it splutters. If i have the paddles on its even worse. If i clutch it or drop it down a gear its awesome and if i go through the gears 1,2,3,4,5,6 its awesome, if ive got the razr2's (on sand/dirt) on ,you wouldnt even know it has a prob unless your in a high gear going slow and hit some boggy sand and hit WOT so i clutch it and shits wicked. its always felt like igntion but im not shaw with 2-strokes. Some peeps dont like these carbs and say to try the stockers but the throttle is wide open and it only splutters at this point everytime. ive had it on a dyno with no help. I might even try the stock jugs just because im running out of things to try. cheers for any help.
  13. thanx man , i like them hey. id like to try elkas to compare. i have to service my air sleeve, before i go for my next ride.... (20min job, you do it once a year)
  14. no complaints with my fox floats, i love to go over shity, ruttered terrain fast and these have coped well. they have never dopped psi or faded or anything.
  15. you can beat yfz450's with bolt ons like what your getting and a cool head with smaller domes (say 21cc @sea level with +4timing and 94oct) but to smoke them, you will need porting. as gnr said, contact some porting sponsors to see how far you want to go.
  16. it all looks very nice but its got me fucked on how smooth and great its ment to be,even with a massive counter balance. his domes are different too.
  17. try calling him, he always answered my calls. ive had wicked arms for about a year and they have help up, i havent crashed into any tree stumps or anything.
  18. with the blocked off intake boots. find a standard cross over pipe to fit or make something up to bridge the two together (thats not a boost bottle), some one here will have a crossover pipe for ya. The nuts/bolts on the head, have the studs been cut to sit flush with the nut or are they bolts ?
  19. i use 1211 on the case and loctite No.3 on the outside of the seals. you dont need to use alot of sealant becuase it squeezes out.
  20. thats a little bit rude aye, i didnt reply to your first thread because i didnt wanna get involved and be another person playing tuff guy. but thats really really bad, and should be considered a hate crime. id be getting my cash back.
  21. you never know, this might be the last thing you have to fix. and wouldnt it suck if you fixed it and sold it to someone that never has a problem with it because youve busted your arse fixing it all. poor banshees, always getting "ill buy a 4poke" threat . i hate fuking around man, but when its all working, its the best thing ever. if something is broken, its not its own fault haha if that makes sense.
  22. go 4mm if you can afford it. either way, porting should be done to get some power out of it, but it can get expensive. (carbs, clutch and manifolds)
