  1. haha woah, wtf have i walked into. how stupid of me to think there would be a happy ebay rad discussion haha.
  2. looks good !!!. like you said, when it gets cold out, jet it up a tad. You should still blow out those aircleaners after every 2nd ride or so, i pretty much clean mine for every ride.
  3. fuk yeh, when you get some traction midway, it pulls like a mofo. nice hills. if it were me, id just jump the whole thing and do like a low 5 , but hey thats just me...
  4. 280 main stock pilot, t5, stock bore/stroke/port with vented box with lid on. oko 30, 155/50 t5, stock bore/stroke with hjr dune/play, uni pods i havent done a chop since i switched back over to stock carbs with 330 mains, but its going alot better. bike runs 50/50 avgas and 93, motul 800 @ 40:1
  5. i cut both tabs off the front of the box, cut the lug on the left hand side of the frame (for the front catch of the airbox) and made some brackets up to mount to the original mounting points for the rear of the box to the frame under your seat. then zip tied the coolant overflow to the same spot on the back of the box (tho you'll have to remove the rear plastic to add water, but you shouldnt need to add any.) only pic i have of it.
  6. hahah funny as , they should do it for real.
  7. i think the pins are above the intake windows in the ring lands.
  8. if they have thicker rings and its not needed, thats more surface area on the bore so there will be more drag = less power. has anyone got pistons weights ? pin and circlips included ?
  9. wiseco's are my choice when it comes to small motors. a nice set of custom JE's would be awesome haha. yeh a good piston is pretty important but your tune keep everything together, a good tune will make a cheap cast piston last. unless your making serious power and break away forced come into it. most piston failures are from a lean out, bad tune, foreign material, excessive heat or lack of lubrication.
  10. great vid man !, its good to have a dvd that has two strokes in it !!!! riding, burnouts and "your vids" were a good watch. err tylers name comes up on the first credits errr (i wish my name was there) hahaha, but i am on the last ones so thats cool
  11. pm a member here "gnr101" he has a 4mm stroker with domes cut for 98 octane , he got them from here also. but yeh, our 98 is like the US 93.
  12. pinched perhaps ? what do all the big alco builds run ? steel o-ring with coper gasket ? or do the viton orings do alright ?
  13. yeh "dlnoss" is the man, his web site is, www.nossmachine.com. tell him your a bhqer and he will look after you. our 98 octane is close to the US 93 octane.
  14. the floats could be too low and cutting the fuel off, on an incline.
  15. the stock cage, which the filter sits around is crap. the foam seal on the end leaks and youll get shit in your motor. an after market one like the noss/pd one has an o-ring seal and its bolted to the air box so it will never leak. and you can run it without the lid. you will have to re jet the carbs to run it without the airbox lid. you can get vents from FAST for your airbox.
  16. i bet alot of alcohol was used that night....
  17. 130 seems pretty lean, what do your plugs look like ? i would have thought a 148-158 jet would be more like it.
  18. hmmm, i started off reading the post thinking you dont wanna spend to much then you threw the custom frame into the mix haha. 5k will get you your frame and some of your suspention 4 stroke torque is 4 stroke torque so your never going to get that down low hit. being a duner your not ever really that low in the revs anyway. i reckon a nice ported 4mm/long rod cub would complement it well, but get ready to get used to carrying more gas haha. how much faster do you wanna go and how much do you wanna spend ?
  19. cheers bro , your quad is looking pretty sexy too man.
  20. im a happy customer, i have a few things from chariot and the machining is fantastic and so is the customer service.
