  1. gettn a bit cold, keep an eye on the plugs with the 310's
  2. Run 25 pilots 27.5 max. what air filter ya running ? Not oiled up too much ? 300 310 main for non ported should be good. What elevation and temps ?
  3. try the 6 with the new paddles as its already on. but youll hook up much better with the +4 and would be better to fang around the dunes.
  4. +6 is a bit excessive. +4 is ample with 60hp, yall need some decent paddles with the +6
  5. 27.5 or 30 pilots and 350 mains for stockers mine clear with angled pods with 34's.
  6. OP is running a lid on his, so it will need leaner jetting. even 330 mains for a non ported 350 with open box is pretty fat tho.
  7. you have full airbox with lid on, running 330's ?
  8. yeh coz 200 is way lean, could of fucked it on a WOT pull. give it a compression test and see how it is. if its stock it should kick around 100-125psi. they should be within 10% of each other. 260/30 is what fmf recommend. its safe. you could try that fmf jetting with one clip leaner on the needle. check the carb slides are opening at the same time and getting full throttle. make sure filter is clean.
  9. fmf stock jetting at sea level (doesnt get much over 350 meters above sea level here) is 260 main - 30 pilot with stock needle in middle clip and about 1.5 turns on the air screw and thats with the snorkel off. what jets are you running now ?
  10. is porting really worth it tho ? i dont think it is. gimmick.
  11. I was happy with kevins port work, customer service and 2 week turn around.
  12. Get some dowels on the cylinder or something the same size to use as a spigot
  13. trail ported cub haha, did they weld up the ports ? what pipes you got now ? cpi's would be ok, nice down low and will sing up top. with the low mid pipes (pro circuit, toomey, dmc, fmf) ya gonna have some bottom end but will kill the top end a bit. cpi + stock carbs/28's would give you some decent down low. i dont even really know where to start with a trail ported cub,
  14. 4mm ported stock cylinder for sure. to tell you the truth, if you have a ported 4mm stock cylinder then replace the stock cylinder with a stock 421 serval cylinder later, you would not be happy !. you would have to port the serval, to make it feel like a good difference. 4mm stock cylinder FTW !!
  15. 4mm serval or 4mm stock cylinder. stock cylinder is your cheapest option as you already have the cylinders. so thats a 800$ (if ya dont get serval cylinders) saving already, (800 could be used for a 4mm crank and porting) shearers wil be fine, cpi would be better. i trail my shearers and have good time (not tight trails tho). cubs do wear the intake side of the piston, quite a bit, but people have ran em for years without a problem. tho as SR11 said, stock cylinder can be bored/sleeved ( ya need a decent problem to mess up the nikasil tho) pro mod is a must, big difference from a stocker and ya can beat the hell outa it. id go a 4mm serval tho, then its done and if you want more power you can port the serval cylinders.
