  1. haha dav, do you get money if people click on that link too
  2. gota take the gas line off too but yeh, they just dont fall out, its all in the wiggle
  3. no they dont, the speed of the water flow is to fast for the small amount of "cooler" surface area, its just not gonna work. gauge ? i dont even turn mine off when it starts smelling funny haha, i just find a nice straight, get some speed and coast in a top gear. that cools it pretty quick.
  4. have you got any serval cub guinea pig's over there you can try these on ? just wondering if the lowered port timing will effect the range in which this pipe runs efficiently in. its a toss up between the cpi and shearer for the serval cub, cpi having the better midrange over the shearer, could this pipe be the pipe to get for the serval cub ? good work guys,
  5. im in the same boat as you, i want bigger carbs but i need a swing arm. as stated, there is no point going for more power if you cant keep the throttle pinned anyway because the front is always in the air. sometimes we have to cater for the power we have instead of just get more of it..... unfortunately haha. swinger for sho !
  6. only the stock steel clutch plates have the dimple you line up with the arrow then time them 60 degrees from each other. the stock pressure plate has and arrow on the outer edge, you align that arrow to an arrow on the clutch boss. yes, there is a washer there behind the basket as well as between the clutch boss and basket, if you dont have one, get one. clutch bolts are a fine thread.
  7. i have mine on top, looking down over the peak (can just see peak in vids). i was going to move mine to the side loco, i thought it gave more P.O.Vishness and you can see what the bike is doing. why dont you like it ?
  8. T5's are good to about 70hp, then they fall over. i think the t5 is a pretty good low to mid range pipe and is great in the tighter trails but they run out of puff in the upper rev range, when a cpi would keep pulling. it depends how you ride, if you love getting up on the pipe and staying in the upper rev range get the cpi's. a dune ported 350 with bolt ons will beat a yfz450, if you want to kill it, you will need a ported 4mm stroker. rider ability and bike setup wins races, power just helps
  9. 09 plastics does look sick tho. 010's are white blue black and red.
  10. some one piece intakes, have a built in cross over tube.... so there is no ugly tube joining both intake's.
  11. here it is anyway... http://www.toomey.com/html/t5-inst.htm let us know how you go.
  12. hah you didnt read that piece or paper that came with the jet kit did you ? the toomey kit if for close to sea level at around 60f with the snorkel off, lid on and with the 12 1" filtered holes through out the box and lid. "The #270 Jet is for operation higher than 2500 feet in altitude. The 280 is the sea level setting up through 2500 feet. On particularly cold days or at very low altitudes (winter in Glamis, CA) you may need a #290 or #300. Conversly, at high alitudes, above 3000 feet you may need a 260, 250 or even less depending on how high you are and how hot it is. We haven't tested at these altitudes, so any recomendation from me would just be a guess. You would do far better to test it yourself when you are there." if you remove the lid all together, you will need to jet up. i run no lid with heaps of holes in my air box and i smash through water. (not knee deep puddles haha ) difference between a vette and a shee, is that ill ride the banshee out, the vette stays in
  13. seen a few youtube vids of the srt8 getting flogged are jeep parts as expensive there as they are here ? compared to other manufacturers prices ?
  14. not rough at all man, its smoother than it was originally. they used a wet bead blast, they come out looking pretty dam good.
  15. i had mine bead blasted, they came out better than new.
  16. hey dave, welcome and stuff . free banshee !! thats a good deal haha, the biggest help would be a clymers manual on the banshee, it has everything you need to know with specs and step by step instructions. If you need more parts, price them up here first (usually always way cheaper) you can get anything you want from the sponsors here. ( http://www.bansheehq.com/yz-banshee-specs-sponsors.html ). enjoy
  17. cool as man, i never knew you could get 2 door ones !!!
  18. i was gonna say, it could maybe be a long rod crank with short rod pistons, but i dont think you can get a long rod stock stroke. so your pistons are sticking out of the bores ?
  19. I went with the V's because i thought there were more for play than dragging like the straight paddle, these V's are pretty understeery anyway are the straights worse ?
  20. cubs are usually for competition use, so if the guy next to you has a ported cub and you dont..... i hope yours is set up pretty good
  21. ive been running maxxis razr blade's 8 offset v paddle 20x11x8 im happy with them. i have no reason to change.
  22. you even weld or re-weld (on the stroker cranks) the hot rods. the stock cranks are pretty good, just get yours trued, welded and checked out, to save you some coin.
  23. not even age has a factor, mine was 40 odd hours old and was quite a bit out when i had it trued and welded. and that was only 141psi and +3 ign adv. if you can, get it done.
  24. running a slingshot under cover on mine, so i can run stock springs, after a few hours of trail riding my hand get all whimpy. +4 min for a swinger, even then, you will have to "work with it" (especially with paddles). as stated a billet basket and pingel should be used.
