  1. interesting...interesting... dunno if ortiz would be ready for a fight like this, im keen to see. both have powerful hits and both will prolly go for knock out.
  2. 100foot running race, between kev and jeff.
  3. it is the same as a car, some car's brake systems if you run them dry, you have to bleed the trapped air around the lines. pump the lever, hold the leaver down, crack the pipe slowly, some air and brake fluid will come out, tighten the pipe/ bolt up and release the lever, do that till there is no air.
  4. haha that sucks. once i was working on a mark2 jag and they have a chrome strip in the middle of the bonnet (hood), changing the spark plugs, and in the course of me doing so, a screw holding the chrome on the bonnet fell straight into a plug hole haha, rattle rattle, pulled it out. what are the chances !. some shit, just wants to fuck with you.
  5. did you bleed it from the highest point ? the caliper is the lowest. if you can get a 450 setup for cheap, run with that.
  6. you should be able to lock the brakes up, i think the stock brakes are fine. try bleeding them. yeh and check the rotor and pads.
  7. cam, i got a clutch cover gasket off of wildcard, and that was a afm type.
  8. 14/41 here, i dont know how people ride with less gearing. im gonna change up to 15/41 so i can stretch the gears longer. the plastic mod quad saver doest allow for a 15t.
  9. yeh youl notice a slight decrease in static compression when ported ( depends on porting too), but it makes up for it in flow in the upper rpm. (dynamic compression) cory with your 421, due the the bigger size motor, the dome cc is increased as with the engine, so to get the same cranking compression as a 350 you need bigger domes, in my 421 i was running 20cc domes and pushing 170+psi now with 24cc's it down to around 135-140psi. on the stock stroke/bore 20's were pushing 155-160psi cranking compression. try another gauge S/mini.
  10. "thats a make !" hahha love it. you guys are awesome. keep on keeping on fellaz..
  11. no porting, stock airbox, i think you are over carbed. stock carbs maybe 28's would go well. id wait for some one else to chime in, but you could be around the 260-280 mark ?? let us know what needles it has, and remove the part that the main jet screws into (dump tube / needle jet) and see what number is on that, the part is number 37 in this diagram http://www.sudco.com/Diagrams123/exptm.gif
  12. go to your pb account, run your mouse over the pic, a few options will come up, click on the IMG code (it will say copied) then go to your thread and click in the blank screen and press cntrl+v at the same time. this will happen ok that didnt work, run your mouse over the pic and click on "share", when that window comes up click on the tab "get link code" then the 2nd last option on the get link tab, copy that whole {url} ( the clickable thumb nail) address, this will happen
  13. any porting done ? whats your elevation ?, what filter setup ? what needles and jets are in there now ?. not that im any good with these carbs, but these question will help others help you.
  14. 160 with 18's whats your elevation ? 4000 above or something ? at sea level, .030" off a stock head would put you around 150-160, if your that high up, you will have you machine too much off the stock head, and youll have to get the chamber's and squish bands reshaped.
  15. your doubts are doubtable !!!! annoying nyuk !, we have cherry coke, i remember we used to have cherry pepsi way back when.
  16. hahah dammit nyuk !!! your annoying !!! since 02 !!! awesome, cant wait to read through this. its like a lil history lesson. shouldnt john get like a special appreciation badge or something
  17. just pinch the clip with the gap infront, make sure the clip gap is away from the recess on the piston (where you get it out from) push the clip in on and angle in the hole, and push it in then push the bottom of the clip into the groove.
  18. check the squish with some solder, is there any resistance when the click sounds ?, if you cant find anything you may have to pull the clutch cover off and see if there is something in there clicking. is it at the same place in crank rotation, every time ? does it click with the head removed ?
  19. not if it starts fine every next day. do you shake the bike before starting ? i do every time to mix the gas. 1 year old is way old !! throw it in ya mower or something.
  20. if you can spin the trans and get it in gears its fine, they dont like selecting when not spinning. make sure you can get through 1-6 6-1 tho. if you can, put it together.
