  1. Seems like a bit of money and time spent on something slow and boring to ride. But if you did it just to look at and you like it, thats all that matters.
  2. i had them and had nothing but probs with them, took it to a dyno, he couldnt tune them either. had a miss just before it would it really ramp up. threw stock carb back on, and wala !!!
  3. helps bleed the system, id leave it in there. or yall get an air pocket.
  4. i dont know how bright my screen is, but it looks pretty light. id go up 1 or 2. n check. youll be somewhere between there.
  5. any way to find out how ported it was, ask for durations ? maybe it was just a clean up or something minimal. i did pretty much the same had the cylinders ported halfway between serval n cheetah cub and went from 24cc to 20c, kicking 170psi. 12.6:1 c/r, .045" squish and it was a huge difference from standard serval, still running pump gas too, but stock timing advance.
  6. could be leaking from the coolant plugs under the cylinders.
  7. cracked frame (not in bad spot but needs to be addressed), buy and weld on front part of frame, arnt you better off just buying another frame ?
  8. think the tm's have the spring/needle retainer screwed to the slide, so will have to pull the spring back then unscrew the retainer screws THEN it will all fall out. mikuni needles are the worst to change compared to other carbs.
  9. contact wsm, or check out their page, they might have specs on there. if not shoot them an email.
  10. Pretty sure snipers are the best fitting. Heard no complaints.
  11. i run shearers and they clear the uni pods with 2nd stage filters. but i seen some shearer setups and that hit everywhere.
  12. cpi's would be good on it and are a fair price.
  13. Yeh mate sounds about right. Not sure on your temps but when i had stock port 421 serval with t5 24cc and stock carbs, i ran 340/27.5 pilot. At 70f temps. And was a touch rich but ran great.
  14. probably because you had a good understanding on how the engines worked anyway, not everyone does. i dunno what the OP has done in the past, but jumping into porting isnt going to be an easy thing to guess through.
  15. never watched his vids. you see it at being negative and yes it some what is, but its the truth. if ya got heaps of time on your hands and working solely on trial and error, go for it. but its gonna take a long time and ya only gonna work out how many things dont work untill you find something that does. and still not know what ya did or doing.
  16. dont let people lie to you. your gonna destroy a few cylinders, and waste a bunch of time, bolting them on and off to see that they dont work. then youre gonna hate everyone and everything. when ya could of just bought ported cylinders and been out riding instead of fucking around. best thing you can do, is get some ported cylinders, degree wheel, dial indicator and copy that shit ! then make changes to see/feel a difference. but your not learning how to port a 2stroke, ya just copying.
