  1. t5's suck on the serval, bike was still fun to ride but the t5's have no top end at all. the shearers have more power every where than the t5's did and scream up top. on a dyno sheet ive seen, the t5 was a good 10-15hp down from the shearer and cpi. they all came on about the same rpm, the cpi had a lil more mid range but not much more and the shearers pulled more revs. carb size will alter the response big time, shearers and stock carbs have heaps of bottom end, but lose some top. 34's and shearers have a lil less bottom but heaps on top. i trail mine, 34's/ shearers. i think it has more than enough bottom end. i havent ridden a serval with cpi's but i think the cpi would be a great pipe for it. is there any cpi servals around ? just make an air box. shearer also make stinger tubes to fit with an aribox. as said, a serval will need some porting to run sweet with the snipers. and shit.
  2. blue, which one is that. lightweight ? ive seen some shockproof glaze synchro's and separate in the bottle, thought it would be a no no in wet clutches. obviously not
  3. yeh totally dont do that, will fuck your clutch. redline prolly have a wet clutch trans oil out there, but shockproof isnt it.
  4. haha, get r dun zilla. if this thread isnt fuel to get it finished, nothing is haha.
  5. ive never jetted in cold weather, but i think youre still too lean on the main. try a 310 with 27.5 pilot at 2 turns. what needle clip are you on ?
  6. 30. doubt youd need a 30. is it any better when you play with the air screw ? test your plug caps and leads. what you got ? where ya from ? 260 is lean, even with lid on in winter. 290 is lean with lid off in winter.
  7. more tyre (bigger profile ) will create a bigger footprint in the dirt and grip alot harder. but has more side wall, so when in turns/slides, it could bite and throw you. less tyres (lower profile) has less footprint but you can throw the bike around more as there is less side wall to flex. more tyre (20-11-9) is better for sand/dunes less tyre (20-11-10)is better for dirt/trails
  8. t5's are way restrictive on the serval, the Pc's would probably be as well. cpi have good pull through out the rpm. them and some 28's would have some good bottom end.
  9. there is a few of us, muh har har haaaarrrrrr
  10. usually go to lano, wedge and a few spots on the coast up to lano. gnangarra, metro rd, a few places in the bush i forget the name haha its up great eastern hwy. how bout ya aelf ?
  11. yeh chariot is a great product. i run one as do many others without a problem. they dont cut domes. you can get some from any sponsor on here http://www.bansheehq.com/yz-banshee-specs-sponsors.html i ran the 20cc domes on my 350, but had advanced ignition timing about +6 and ran 50/50 avgas/98. ive heard you can get away with 20cc domes here on 98, but havent tried my self. 320 would be a good start on jetting. make sure you get a pro flow adapter for the airbox as the stock cage is shit.
  12. tried asking one of the sponsors ? they'll steer you in the right direction. you can go to a hose/fittings store and measure up the line (18") then buy the banjos and ask them to crimp it together, or just ask a sponsor.
  13. smaller carbs would prolly be more beneficial in a "trail" environment. but it depends how you ride, if your WFO all the time, the 32's might be better. 28's would probably be optimal. stockers would be fine.
  14. ok bullshit aside. did you get any stickers with these coils ? 07, one wipe is where its at, just to realise you didnt have to wipe at all. clean snap, thats what im talkn bout.
  15. compression must be checked when hot, for accurate results. leak down doesnt.
  16. youd buy a running one for that. offer him 500$ even if it has no base gasket, which we will say is .020" and a stock head with stock stroke with squish at around .035 (at a tightest) you still have .015" of clearance with out a base gasket. need to know how far out those pistons protrude through the bore.
  17. same engine for 10000 years. how far do the pistons stick out of the block ?
  18. i now have an xbox. i rather the ps3. xbox annoys me from time to time. ( ive had it 2 days haha) need to get mw3 on 360 as i been playing bf3 on the 360 and mw3 on the ps3.
