  1. haha bhp. prolly coulda won by just turning up and riding slowly to the end of the track hah
  2. While it's together, you can make a leak down tester and check for air leaks. While the carbs are off, pull the bowls off and check for dirt and see what jets are in there. What are the compressions ?
  3. i cant see any of yous in the pix ?
  4. 28's would be perfect on it. stock carbs too if you can find some for cheap. even if you port, stock carbs will be fine, 28's better tho. i still think 34's are a bit big for a ported 350.
  5. thats pretty high !! hopefully some one will chime in that rides close to that altitude. but 19's would probably be safer with pump. 34s would be a bit big for a stock motor.
  6. what is your elevation there ? youd need a pretty high octane for 18's, is race gas something you want to buy all the time ?
  7. what ever HJR supplied, i think he usually runs a .020" but you should really ask kevin.
  8. haha yep ! make sure both surfaces are dead perfect flat, and run a sealant only !! tho changing your base gaskets alters your port timing so if you got a plan, sweet. if not, you could make it run worse. you can get real thin gasket paper too so if you wanted to run a gasket you could make one thinner than .010"
  9. i reckon the double banjo on the master cylinder look agricultural and shit haha. t-piece like stock looks better.
  10. im running +2+1 arms and +4 swinger,on stock lines.
  11. you need suspension for sure !!. if you do go through puddles alot maybe think of getting an airbox or making one. i run the uni filters with the dual stage.
  12. if you go to a parts store and ask for a wet clutch type transmission oil, you should be fine. i use motul transoil expert 10/40
  13. haha rusty, funny as. you were a crack up that night.
  14. what do you mean ? will it start in gear, with the clutch ? and stall when you release clutch ? or will start in neutral but when clutch is in and you put it in gear it dies ? does it lunge forward and die ? or just stop dead ? id pull the clutch cover off and have a check out. if all looks fine and is in spec. turn the engine upside down and remove the bottom case. check out the trans.
  15. x3. stock carbs are good for 80ishhp, the stock carbs on low-mid pipes on a serval rip down low and way torquey in the trails. fmf pipes may hold the serval back some, but they will be fine to run on it. have fun till you can get different pipes.
  16. dam 700 is pretty cheap !!. if it were me, id find out what the domes are like (specs/ if they will work for you and the gas you wanna run) and id replace the pistons for forged units. the serval kit is way more, but will work out less in time. theyve been doing the athena kits for years, youd think theyd have them reliable/worth while by now. i wouldnt buy it tho. hit up brandon from wildcard, im not sure if he does athena, he probably does, he does everything else !! 800$ for the above serval kit is pretty good too, i paid more than that for just the cylinders.
