  1. you need 5k ohm caps. NGK part number is TB05EMA. and cut about a 1/2" off the lead when you take the old ones off. check pick up gap too, .016-.020" check coil resistances too.
  2. they are pretty cheap to buy new. hit up FAST or another site sponsor.
  3. dam, wish you could find em here for 400 !! even under 1k !! would be nice. yeh i vote 421 serval as well. best all round cylinder with plenty of room for growth.
  4. what have you got now ? if ya running stock port stock bore. a ported 4mm stock cylinder will be a major difference, youll be happy with.
  5. you have an air screw just not an idle screw. look on the side of the carb, there will be a brass flat head screw.
  6. Have you re torqued the base and head nuts ? Do it when it's cold. Yeh if it hasn't blown up or broken down yet, so far, so good.
  7. IM running 50 pilots in my 34tms on my cub. So id say you are lean on the pilot. That single carb is not a good choice for your cub.
  8. lockup uses centrifugal force to add pressure to the clutch so it dont slip. usually needed for 80-90+hp
  9. So you sold Tim some good cpi small bores and Had a fucked silencer a fucked mount and were bb and not sb. And Tim is a Dick ? And you're not selling on bhq anymore ? What the fuck ?
  10. never thought it was a problem. throw water in, run the bike with the cap off, get it hot , top it off and put the cap on, go for a ride. and next day check rad level, top it off and forget about it.
  11. Going through changes like, instead calling him Jim, he now wants to be.called Janette.
  12. is it coolant ? like coloured ? or do you use straight water as coolant ? do you have the plugs in the bottom of the cylinder ? (should seal without anyway) has the coolant level dropped ?
  13. yeh kinda what i was thinking, but would be nice to get it all perfect as it was bought all new. i reckon who ever sold you that will swap it for the right one anyway. or just call up elka and give them the serial number off the shock, see what it comes back as. i dont ride anyway, ive had the shocks on my bike for like 8 months, still havent used them haha.
  14. good time to decide if you want center exit or normal.
  15. no i found out to late, i was cleaning up the garage and i seen all the elka receipts, and i seen the +3 swingarm quoted. it was about 4 months from me getting them, to finding the paper work. so i left it at that. im in australia, so sending stuff around is gonna be a pita.
  16. yeh mine was the same kinda, i looked at the spec sheet and my rear shock was setup for a +3 nor a +4. i looked on the PMs and i stated it was +4. so some one cant write or remember things.
