Yea it for sure could be the 250x motor. Its definatley a quadzilla body, he sent me some other pictures that I couldnt attatch...Either way it will surprise some people lol
I'm picking up a Honzilla tomorrow. I'm not a big fan but I will basically have $70.00 in it. Free 1980 Yamaha TT250, $70 bucks in repair...Traded it for a 1988 Honda 250 fourtraxx im trading it dead even for this hybrid. The quad is running. He told me it has electric start and kick start, there is no key but it will kick start. Anyways the guy did not seem to know about it. He told me it was a Honda V-twin a took a pic of the motor. Its running but the clutch will not disengauge and it leaks oil when tart. He also said he thinks its a 1100cc? How the hell could you kick start that? Shouldnt be a lot of trouble...a rollin zilla frame is not bad for $70 anyways...Can anyone ID this motor.......Ill post pics of the whole thing after I pick it up.
Razak Al-Hassan is crazy. He has fought in Indianapolis a bunch. Ive been to a few of his fights. After he wins he immeditley goes out into the crowd and starts bullshitting, drinking beer. To bad he forgot how to tap? WTF was he thinking. I watched like 6 times in slow mow it looks like his shit is dislocated and broken (above the elbow) I doubt he will ever recover. Yoshida got KTFO Koscheck hit him so hard he was out on his feet ( i watched like 10 times you can see his eyes roll back) then sends him to the promise land. I typically waste $40 a month. This free card was one of the best ive EVER seen. So good I had to donate some to the troops
You can reuse a metal headgasket...or at least I do.......Ive seen people use gasketmaker.......You can make your own paper gasket from gasketpaper...its really cheap
Save yourself the trouble and have your head shaved. Benefits are the same. Minus the bigger cooling ports? Wont have to worrie about buying a $20 o-ring kit every time you take it off. Cheaper.
Blowing oil out of the dead cylinder? Im not expert but if your reeds are good I would check the crank seals. I had the same problem, if you stayed on the throttle for awhile, which I dont recommend you do. It will eventually hit on two, burning the excess oil. I was running ATF, my builder (T-shee) at Roland racing said it did a number on one of my pistons. I hope its a reed.
Been in storage for awhile. Not sure what its worth. Checked ebay and all of them are $155 but it now to $190 buy it now. Seems high to me, Ill take $90 shipped before I put it up on ebay. Will need cleaned. I believe this is a popular carb for a 2 to 1 setup? May be willing to trade for whatever, I need some .30 or .40 over pistons with rings, V2s would be good.
Will post pic on monday when im off work.
I got this carb a few days ago thinking about going with a 2 to 1 setup, but I changed my mind. What should I ask for it, I didnt want to post in general since I will be selling it soon. Id trade the carb if anyone has some good .30 pistons with rings.
I have had the same problem before. There is a little nut on the other side of the pressure plate. The nut came off. No resistance. Id check that first.
Forgot to mention Im running a coolhead 22cc domes, doesnt really seem to do anything/compared to running a milled head at .30. So I will definatly notice a increase in performance with v2's or v3's?
I ride mainly trails. I have about 200 bucks to spend. I currently have fmfs fatties, a no name port job, bandit xc tires, k and n pods, +4 timing. What should I do with that $200? Try to get some used t-5's?, some differnt carbs, better shocks?
