If anyone is interested in a nice tecate-4 I have a 88 for sale. Powercoated blue frame. Rear plastics are cracked, front is ok. New shaved flywheel. Chrome FMF full exhaust, Vforce-2 reeds. Ported by Kustom Kraft. Needs a carb. I had a carb on it from my buddies tecate but he sold it. I threw a 34pwk on there just to move it around but it runs like crap. I should list it in the forsale section but im not exactly ready to get rid of her fast. Ill take $1200.00...........

Ill be honest with you. Jetting for something like that is almost impossible. Your best bet is to just chalk it up.....crate up everything you have and get it shipped out to me. Start fresh. Ive heard CC's ending on odd numbers are a bad omen. You need to rebuild maybe shoot for 536 or 534.....Ill pm you with my shipping address. Get me your paypal and ill give you 70 bucks so you can get that thing shipped out.

Wow 370....320 seems really small. With my porting...fmf fattys...and pods...maybe 350 is a good starting point?

Picked them up a week ago for $60 bucks. Figured they would need a rebuild but they are in good shape. The guy I bought them from only told me they were on a piped banshee. Stock piolet 320 mains, 1 clip up. I tried them on my banshee today with that jetting and im very impressed with the carbs. Bike seems to rev faster, but it does not want to stay in the power band like it used to. A lot of shifting, doesnt backfire or cut out or anything just like the the powerband shrank. Could this be a jetting issue? I figured I would have more top end? My relavent mods are as follows Trail ported K and N pods +4 timing FMF fattys Is 320 a good starting point? I couldnt tell if it was lean or rich...plugs were black but 320 seems small for my mods....thanks in advance.

Not to bad at all. Definatley true..I just scored some TM 28mm flatside mikunis off ebay of all places.

I have some FMF ram valves with FMF power reeds Im asking $12 for. One reed needs replaced...replacement reeds are $36.00. The cages work with stock intake boots. This setup was awesome and a big improvement over stock. I scored some rad valves for $20 tho

Im not trying to be a dick or anything but your probably going to have to get the jetting/carb cleaning squared away to get more interest. It shouldnt take much work and it will be easier to sell. A lot of people say..the carbs need cleaned...just to hide other issues.

Your banshee responds to mods better than that 450. Really depends on who did your portwork.
