Why do you want to charge a battery? I'm using a banshee voltage reg and powering the sock yfz lights just fine. I re read the post and see you want to run a fan and i assume the stock yfz radiator. I think you will be disappointed in the cooling capacity.

Graphite IS a lubricant I use a lot of it around the farm and in the right application it is better than wet lube. Look up Slip Plate http://www.slipplate.com/FAQs.php You may ride more than I do and wear out lots of bushings. I have never had a problem and could not be happier not having to deal with grease smeared all over the front end.

So i just traded hi-point and i want to trick it out whats the best stuff for it? had to get that first one out of the way for everyone! Been shooting 3 gun for a while any Hq' guys shoot competitively?

I plan on putting a few more hours on it around the shop to see if any gremlins show up. After that the next nice weather we have im going to put a weekend dune trip on it then it will go to Powder coat.

Thanks for all the compliments guys. I have had no time to do anything up until this week. I got all the wiring done yesterday but have not adjusted the front end or finished trimming the shrouds. I just came in from the maiden ride and need to put in some axle bearings and get the Toe adjusted and take it out again saturday.

I have been so busy around here this month that I havent had time to do much else other than work and sleep. I am going over with more parts this afternoon and should have some updates this evening I will keep you posted.

They are good welds just not pretty lol but for the kind of money I spent I was expecting a little more. I think the way it will mount up you wont see the welds that much any way.

That radiator in the pics is a Torch works for a drag bike just put it in there to see how it fit. My radiator for the build showed up Friday............... About all I can say is I hope it will hold water. They had good service, fast build time and got all the mounting tabs in the right places. But when I looked at the welds I was disappointed to say the least. I have no idea how someone that welds up aluminum radiators for a living could make a weld look so shitty.

Here is the engine I just finished up the powder coat. I was thinking of doing the frame that blue color with some black plastic.

The clearance between the stock a arms and the pipe is close and would probably work if i wanted to run them. I am going with a set of a arms built by GT that will give me some extra room so the pipes will be easier to take on and off and allow me to run different pipes without hacking them up. As for the radiator I made a wooden mockup out of some 3/4 plywood and had TCP performance out of Rexburg, ID build it. I will put some pics of it up when i get it from them they are telling me it will be a couple weeks before they get it made

Yep he is doing the engine fab and design for me. When I started on this I decided it was going to have pipes that looked good or I wasn't going to do it.
